To be honest I quite prefer how the forums are now. People ♥♥♥♥ around, talk crap and if anyone crosses the dickyness line the mods get him. Try to remember that this is an internet forum, not some form of elitist bull♥♥♥♥ were everything needs to be neat, tidy and completely on-topic.

Oh gosh, this made me so nostalgic. The days of the good ol' boys' club of DRL, trolling everyone, Data included, arguing about pointless ♥♥♥♥ just to kill time. So much fun. At one point Data banned my entire region of Florida.

This is actually the nostalgia thread now. Everyone with a join date before '08 can start getting all teary eyed and start reminiscing now.

Oh I was a terrible poster when I first came to the internet (forums have sort of always been my thing), but I was also thirteen.
Man, now I'm wistful. It's sad, in a way, but I think it's lovely that I got to spend a few years with all of my friends here. So many of them are gone now, this must be what graduating high school feels like. So many people that together made a place I loved, a community. Grif, Alenth, Daman, Thor, Selene, and a slew of others. Our resident Polski, GodItself, was always my favorite. I got my current internet moniker from here, ComradePyro. My chosen name when I came to the internet was Pyrorex, and in IRC I used Pyro. So along comes this guy, a few years ago, by the name of ExtraRussian. He's Russian. Anyway, he called me Comrade Pyro, and since I was a little rusfag fanboy I loved it, and I've had it ever since. I think it's pretty cool. Anyway, don't mind me, I'm just thinking of happy days spent wasting time. I always kinda knew we'd all go our different ways, but boy it sure makes me sad to think about it now. Just because I knew it would happen doesn't mean I wanted it to. This place meant a lot to me, and it still does. Many of you will never read this, in fact of most of you, but thank you. Thank you for giving me so many wonderful memories. Thank you for keeping me sane in the swamps of north Florida. Thank you for being my absolutely fantastic friends. Even you, TrouserDemon.
