Lego - discussion and such.
I was looking through the WH40K thread, and suddenly for no apparent reason remembered my neglected, dust collecting, half destroyed Lego collection! So I guess post your own lego. And other peoples' that you find cool. One of my favourite builders.
My Steampunk creations:
The Landser land tank. Lots of MGs and a few cannons.
Has a crew of 5 - forgot to take pic.
I have no idea what this is.
Some kind of scout tank that can go on it's back wheel.
Flier.
Personal air blimp.
War tractor.
Boat and truck.
And an unfinished (well, extremely neglected) helidyne style thing. Missing VTOL thrusters.
Also, what do you think about lego's new Star Wars models? Flick rockets? Really? I personally hate anything to do with the Clone Wars movie.

Getting mine out. I'm not nearly as good as he is, though.

Holy shamolie Ketten, that's some nice steampunk you got there. Damn, I miss Lego now too!
Ho-lee ♥♥♥♥. I was expecting a half ironic nostalgia thread, but dayum that's nice.
Now where are my K'nex guns...

I never built awesome things with lego like that, except a semi-functional rubber bands machine gun. I couldn't load more than 5 rubber bands though, or the gun would begin disarming itself.
Anyway, your creations are good. And are those some pink-skinned legos I see there?

Yeah, I mashed some Indiana Jones Nazis with an Imperial Pilot. If you think those creations were good, you should have seen what I used to have. I made a pretty good AT-TE from scratch, that could deploy troopers from it's belly. That was really cool until it got destroyed playing with it one day. (When I was 9 or so, Star Wars vs soft toys. A monkey kicked it up the backside and shattered its frame.) I remember converting the star destroyer set into a Republic Assault craft, and... Aw man I miss all these now. Anyway, I got a massive bulk from a friend at a young age, so I suppose that's what started me off.
I'll fix that helidyne later if I have time.

I have a lot of lego pieces, but they are all scattered around my house. The problem is that they all have a lot of shiny and lulzy colors, so I can't build anything that looks serious.

I still have all of mine; they're in my basement, and they've been on "display" for the last three years.... I check MOCpages every so often, though, to see what crazy-ass things people come up with.

Someone say tank?
Anyway, you can see some out of place pieces due to my somewhat limited collection of bricks.

I don't have the talent, nor the pieces to build anything of yours. But if I could, I would most definitely try to recreate that little steamscooter.

Nice work.
Pretty sure this should go in the Art Dump, or at least in Off Topic Chat.

Re: Lego - does this count as gaming?
Well it has some gaming elements in it and it's kind of similiar to the WH40K models(basic name ) thread.

No, if it were a game using Legos, then maybe, but this is just "Hey look, Lego creations, don't they look bitchin?".
