This may be old news, but i just discovered something awesome with the Oni's grab function.

i was punching the lights out on some poor soldier, when a grenade landed at my feet. i picked up the soldier and started to run away, facing the grenade. it exploded and all of the shrapnel was absorbed by the soldier i was holding.

MEAT SHIELD FTW!

One thing I loved about the most recent iteration of DarkStorm was that each of the weapons that had an elemental effect had some sort of colored highlights to indicate the type. I'm wondering if Darlos is going to keep that concept, and how it'll work for guns with multiple possible elemental effects.

Yeah you got a big point about that, I always look and hook up the character's gun color with the armor color.

Hey Darlos, if you ever get around to it, do you think you could make a "trimming" color to the armor, showing more color if you know what I mean?

I'm actually hoping the list in UniTec long, only easily customizable. Maybe even neatly sorted. :)
The problem I have and have had for a long time with DarkStorm is that the guns aren't very distinct in appearance. I've often found myself ordering the wrong thing(s) entirely. Defending your brain from incoming bullets is a hectic job, after all.

I'd suggest some sort of color coding but that doesn't seem appropriate. :/

i cant tell you how many times i ordered a gatling laser instead of a gatling gun...
