Post Re: Peak Oil
I read some article talking about the research of blue petroleum.

In South America there was a discovery that these blue organisms(forgot what type of microorganisms pretty sure it was algae)bundled up on the chimneys of concrete factories.

Once the algae died they would decompose into a crude blue oil that is similar to the black relative(I think a joke's hidden there :) ).

But blue oil is eco friendly since it burns up and is exhausted out as carbon dioxide which is a important food for plants.

Another positive perk it doesn't take millions of years to process into oil(I forgot the certain wait time, somewhere around a day?).

Since it can be mass produced with a unlimited supply(since the algae or organisms reproduce by trillions everyday)of oil and fuel for about everything that needs it.

One downside is maybe some things will need to be converted to be able to intake blue petroleum.

If this revolutionizes the fuel industry everything is sure to get cheaper and fuel will cost at a mind blowing low cost(not as good as free piss in me car fuel but it might be a quarter to the gallon or even lower so don't complain).

If it were that easy, we'd have water powered cars already, but who knows, maybe it's something.

Dame, I was trying to respond to your post in a way that didn't look too angry, but I don't think it's possible. You are beyond wrong in so many ways.

That isn't a valid excuse. To say that 'That's what the article said', is to imply that you don't agree with it, yet your original post shows that you do believe the article. Pulling a quick excuse like that shows that not only were you possibly lying, but also that you didn't think out what you were saying. Think before you act.

tl;dr: :l

All of that was what the article said except the 2 things I said, that are encased in parentheses(the "there's a joke" and the very bottom one). I don't believe it entirely but with the confusion of Biological patterns of organisms and evolution and all that science dealt with the properties of organisms it could be the truth.

Edit: That Blue organism can have the biological properties to make what that article said fact or maybe not.

Living life forms are near impossible to study and find valid traits and properties. No 2 living life forms are a like unless they are twins or were asexually created.

Maybe the Blue organisms reproduce sexually and asexually so the data could be varied so turning them to a fuel would have random results.

Just fruit for thought.

Dame, as nobody else has told you, I've a shocking revelation for you.
Carbon dioxide isn't happy plant food any more.
Carbon dioxide is the thing we are trying to reduce in the atmosphere, as it is the thing causing global warming.

If a fuel is causing global warming, it isn't very eco-friendly, is it?

As I don't know what they are planning to "feed" the algae, it may simply be carbon neutral (burning the fuel will release only as much carbon dioxide as it took in), or it may increase the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Evil, ice-melting, sea-rising, drought-cause carbon dioxide, not happy plant food carbon dioxide.

By "burning hell" you mean about 5 degree Celcius (average) in the next 100 years.

Don't listen to Duh. I've been reading some totally legit news articles about global warming that say that if we don't stop all gasoline and petroleum production within a year, all of Earth will spontaneously combust and the sea levels will also rise about a mile or so.

Actually that's what I feel when I have to get out and walk every summer in the city centre. All that concrete and asphalt feels like we're going on building our own ovens to bake in them and the easiest way to comfort is buying a car with AC.
