@Geti: No no, I just thought that was a pretty screenshot with lots of people on at once. There hadn't been any pics since the graphics update so I thought I'd share. I meant no offense by it.

I meant no offense by it. I was in a match where almost the entire server was at middle. It wasn't organized or anything, everyone did what they usually do, just with everyone at the same spot. It was epic.

No worries contrary, there's just been a lot of pissing and moaning about skybridges in recent days. Some changes that are likely en route: - Building system overhaul, had a few ideas about this last night but either way there'll be frames for rooms and mechanisms with little bubbles that you can click to prevent weird white tiles on the map and make building more intuitive.
- Animals soonish.
- Changes in the way health is managed and more plinky plonk
- Funds -> cost for suicide and even more plinky plonk
- New way of buying the game for those of you without paypal
- kag2d.com update
- Probably more within the month
We've got a lot on our plates Also as an update content-wise: Bison is much more bisony.

It'll arrive in the next week or so I think. The diligence of the skyladdering scumbag is getting frustrating, so ladders wont give support in the sideways direction soon enough.
New build btw. Its total carnage atm, got some balancing to do bombs-wise.

That reminds me, I hate how Workers can't even do a half hearts damage per swing to Knights..
Why did you remove the damage completely? Or even nerf it at all? (It was 1 heart before I believe)

Shh knights will get nerfed soon enough (bombs are going to be a lot less terrain-rapey). Also archers can climb buildings like no other and kill everything from ages away.
GenericUsername: we didn't like that builders were a proper threat to knights. We never want builders properly winning battles via melee combat. If we have 1/4 hearts they might be able to do that much damage.

I think with all of the new knight tech it would pretty hard for a worker to kill even a wounded knight. I mean ages ago it was ridiculous, as workers and knights had the same amount of health and workers out DPSed knights, but now I think with all the stunning and special moves all that, it would probably be fine.

I agreed. If he can't do 1 hearts damage, why not make it at least a half? Theres no way a Worker can beat a Knight one on one unless hes terrible that way, and then the Worker deserves to win, because hes good at the same time.

We got KAG on Desura! As such, we're having a sale and have been pushing out updates left and right, here's a recent screenshot and some changes for those of you who're a few builds behind: - New graphics
- Netcode optimisation
- Fall damage
- Too many bugfixes to count
- Human catapult
- Arrow climbing
- Pretty parallax backgrounds
- Many French players
It's prettier, and hopefully more fun than ever - there's still work to do everywhere but it's exciting to see things moving along at the moment. Note that KAG doesn't require Desura to run, you can just buy gold through them now, and it's cheaper that way for the time being I think Pick up a gold account and every coming update ever for the price of lunch in the city! (whee, buttons!) Copypaste from TIGS. Honestly, if you already play KAG consider getting your mates to play it. I know I enjoyed lieroX a lot with friends at school, hint hint. See the desura page or kagdev for news on what's happening in the future.
