No way, could this be a publicity stunt? No, it couldn't.
I'm sure this cannot be it. Or...
No, I think this is just the end.

Is this Mac compatible? I've never really gotten these mods to work before but I was hoping this one last hurrah would work.

When was the last time you tried to use the mods? I had them on a Mac for awhile and had the same problem, but if I recall correctly, thesoupiest started making them Mac compatible.
Even if they're still incompatible, though, I always found that he only had one or two documents per module that needed work, and those were always just a case of replacing \ with /, which is easy enough.

Aight. So that Silver Bane dudebroguy is awesome even though its like a wip or something and the sprites look weird also The new additions/fixes/tweaks are cool. I notice that the light trooper is somewhat less useless, however not completely. The mine layer is pretty neat too, but I haven't retested everything yet so I'm unaware of what else is new. Besides new sprites.

I agree, the minelayer is cool, but I feel as though it might be more practical if it launched a low-velocity shell that gibbed into the pinned mine. That way it would be easier to A) lay mines on the ground, and B) lay mines where they won't kill the layer.

Re: thesoupiest's Combined Forces - R.I.P.
I'm having the same problem others were having- namely:
Failed to load datafile object with the following path and name:
Base.ret\Devices\Diggers\DiggerSound.wav
I read that this was not a problem with the mod, but with my install(not sure if this is true).
But I only have had this problem after this install. Can anyone help?

It's because when B25 came out, file have been organized and arranged in different filepaths than B24, so any mods that used vanilla content will have to be revised.

Oh, I thought this was B25 compatible. That explains things.
EDIT: The thread is marked as B25-compatible. Why would I be running into this problem?

Something's wrong with your CC. That file has been in vanilla CC for quite some time, so you should reinstall.
