Re: Team Fortress Deux
I swear to god, if I get some shitty ass hat, I'm gonna blame it all on you.
EDIT: I got a Vintage Tyrolean. Any good? EDIT2: I just crafted the Machina. I really like it.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
Steam Support finally get back to me. The fix they give me works. Start up TF2. No sound outside of the Intro movies.
I seem to be getting insane amount of Atomizers. Zero Mad Milk, zero Crit-a-Cola, zero anything I want.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
I opened my second crate yesterday. I actually paid for the key this time. I got a Powerjack. I'm not opening any more crates.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
My friend bought some keys and gave me one. Then he laughed when I unboxed a Crit-a-Cola.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
Opening crates is like using scratchcards, pretty pointless and usually a waste of money I'm just waiting until they let me turn crates into metal

No, it isn't strange. It was from a series 5 crate.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
Aren't crates off the standard item drop thing? As in, they don't count for your weekly allowance?
Also, TLB, look for crates that contain something you actually want. And go for something more recent if you want a Strange or something tradeworthy. What are you looking for?
Also, I swear you used to be able to buy bundles of keys...

Re: Team Fortress Deux
Bypassed my Steam issue by installing both Steam and TF2 on my second PC. So yeah, problem solved, kinda.
My favorite class is definitely spy. Nothing is more satisfying than backstabbing a medic that's healing you.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
So long as we're on the topic of crates, I unboxed a few, got mostly crap, but I did get a Dapper for the Solly (My all-time favorite class), which I then sold for 2 refined, and coupled with 2 more and a scoot tolken, made myself a tosslecap, which I then use along side my scattergun, winger, and atomizer to instill fear and pain in the hearts of my foes.
Going back to the Cow Mangler 5000 (TM), I crafted myself one not too long ago, and I have to say- it adds flavor. The fifth shot is nice, and the charged mega-shot is also pretty sweet, but ever since the direct hit and the liberty launcher came out with the high projectile speeds (OH MY GAWD IS THE LIBERTY LAUNCHER MY PRECIOUS), people have gotten semi-good at dodging rockets. People see a charged shot coming at them, and just get out of the way, or at least that's what I see and do. Because hey- I try to CATCH that laser coming at me, right? -_-
Also, someone a while back said that the soldier is a fire and retreat/reload class. Have you ever tried rocket jumping up, raining fire down, landing behind enemy lines, and continue to shotty the survivors? That's always a really hard target especially when he's airstraffing.
'Nother topic- I'd like to hear some of people's moments of glory. My all-time favorite is in CTF Doublecross, I airshotted a guy coming out of battlements with our intel at the peak of his rocket jump, made the mofo gib everywhere, and most importantly, lose the intel. One more thing- Team Interrobang is my home for TF2. Together, we are equally worthless
