A game in 3D with CC's physics engine and awesome style would be Game of the Century. Thats a fact.

Then go start it. Saying in a thread "CC 3D is awesome" is not going to get it any closer to being made, just as wishing world hunger would be fixed won't do anything about that.

My aim was not to have it made just by saying it was awsome.It was just say it would be awsome.

As much as a CC 3D would be fun, it's been said already that a super computer would be needed.

Wrong. It will be perfectly possible as technology advances, provided we don't get stuck down the world of polygons as we have been so far.

A 3D engine very similar to the RTE is already in development - If you read the Devlog you'll notice the Atomontage engine. CC 3D is (theoretically) very possible.

The biggest problem is finding someone who is actually willing to make the game a reality.

I doubt games will go in ANY other direction over the next few years anyways, but I disagree that CC 3d would be cool mostly cause I love that its 2d and its retro, also I bet many game companies are trying to work on something like the atomantage engine secretly I think we will see it in the next 15 years provided that the holodeck isn't made before then.
