This is an interesting book.

Like Kallimort said a song of ice and fire most definitely. It contains The Game Of Thrones, A Clash Of Kings, A Storm Of Swords, A Feast For Crows, and the recently released A dance of dragons. These books are the best fantasy book I have ever read, because they tend to stray away from the typical fantasy genre and is more closely related to real medieval lifestyle, except for the mythical creatures (which dont really enter until the second and third books), with the style of writing. The characters are believable and the plot follows multiple characters but is ever changing. I recently started feast for crows, but each book has gotten phenomenally better. I recommend this book as much as I can, this series is amazing. Once you read the first book go download the HBO series and watch it, don't do it the other way though because the book is way better, even though the show is awesome, because there is only 10 episodes so they cant hit the lore as much and leave out some smaller dialog, but the do hit all the major plot points nicely.
