I've been getting into Zen Buddhism and it really syncs with Communism.
I have no material possessions. I share what I have with other people.

Proud Communist and Buddhist.

What are your political and philosophical views?

philisophically, pretty much what asklar said.

politically, i don't think political systems are designed properly; they seem to be made to function under the premise that the majority of humans are not ♥♥♥♥ stupid*. I'm not entirely sure, but i think a socialist republic is probably the ideal government.

*not meant to be condescending or anything. I think i'm just as stupid if not even stupider than the average person.

I try not to get TOO involved in politics, but I do have rather... capitalistic... views. I don't like other people having a share of my things, they are MINE! If I worked at all for it, then it is mine. even if I did not, ownership is rathergood... I mean, if you don't technically own something, anyone could take it at any time for any reason. Have a hundred dollars? Oh, no you don't, that guy just walked up and took it. after all it wasn't yours to begin with. I think that anybody who does not believe in personal property, yet is angered at all when I or someone else walks up and takes their stuff, is a complete hypocrite. I mean, after all, it isn't like YOU own it...

DISCLAIMER: I am kind of jacked up on some kind of steroid pack for my newfound virus, I am very unstable and skippy.
I claim no responsibility for what I just said, whether I meaned it or not. Unless I want to claim it. In that case I claim it.

Communism isn't for everyone I guess.
You have to have hope that eventually there will be a form of true communism.
And sharing is caring, man

The problem with communism is that for it to function properly, it relies on humans to NOT be hard wired to be selfish and greedy things who put themselves before others.

Yeah. That's why I have hope. Eventually a society not corrupted with greed can live in harmony.
Not unlike Buddhist monks.

You just kinda nullified your "People aren't inherently greedy" point there....

Yes, yes, that's it.

I believe that if people were better like society, if people weren't selfish and didn't have those classic bad values that you learn at school, any political system would work, even more, people could live perfectly without government.

But most people don't understand that thing, or worse, a lot of people simply can't achieve it, or even worse, most people don't have the opportunity to know all of this.

All I can say is that I am aligned strongly to the left. I would say CRUCIFY THE OIL BARONS OF CAPITALISM and BURN THE COMMUNIST PIGS, because both eventually fail the common person, but i have no alternative form of government so ♥♥♥♥.

I do believe that capitalism is eventually going to morph into some kind of 1984 type state. They have too much money and they use it to make the people do what they want.

You're assuming that human nature can change. Humans are always going to want more for less, and if communism offers that, people are going to take advantage, no matter how much it screws over the society as a whole. Also, why is capitalism bad? I see no problem in rewarding people for working harder, which all centrally controlled economies do the opposite of.

Because at higher levels, capitalism has a tendency to screw over the little man. At least that's how I see it.

The problem is, communism and socialism tend to screw over everyone at the bigger levels. Communism might work in small self-contained and self-sufficient communities, but as it gets larger it gets more and more corrupt.
