If you play Minecraft, this mod is ♥♥♥♥ awesome.
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/553749-173-solar-apocalypse-wip/
Basically you have three days to collect as many resources as possible. Pretty much EVERYTHING is an essential, because you're about to be living underground forever. Also I suggest using this, and maybe a book mod to make a little journal. :3
Feel free to add any other mods you want for fun.

To quote the highest-rated comment: THAT'S OKAY! I WASN'T PLANNING ON SLEEPING TONIGHT ANYWAYS!

In case that alone won't burn into your brain:

^At first it sounds like standard Combine radio chatter and the idea that the zombies are using it is almost comical... at first. Then you realize from the use of certain terms- "Necrotics inbound", "Sector is not secure", "Parasites", "Infestation", etc- that the Zombine are repeating what may have been their last sentences as a human trying to fend off the headcrab attack.

Or maybe the combines are still aware of what's happening and all, but the headcrab is just controlling all the movement and such.
Then think about how wonderful it would be to be a combine when all the others in your squad are infected.

Well then any form a co-worker rivalry would be easily solved by a shotgun blast to the face.

The rational thought of why Valve would give the zombine words to say doesn't seem entirely realistic. Once you shoot the Headcrab off the body you see the entire head is gone and (supposedly) digested, just the neck is whats left. Unless the Headcrab had actual control over their vocals and made perfect muscle movements to sound out words and to understood human/combine vocabulary, I think that was a wee bit of a mistake on Valve's part.

That'd make up for a cool feature though, headcrabs expressing their aggression and attempting to cuss at you through the ability of a dead body.

Code:
"Zombine groans are filtered through the soldier's vocoder. This "speech" consists not only of zombie growls but also Combine soldier reports, such as "Necrotics inbound" or "Sector is not secure". Zombines may also say things like: "Contact", "Biotic over-run" And "Infestation". This may be a sign that the host combine is aware of the infection, and is warning surrounding soldiers or that it is stuck on the last report the soldier was trying to make before being attacked."

The part below that basically just states what I previously posted.

If someone came down the part of England I live in, they would find themselves mugged.

And probably murdered.
