I agree with most of y'all, my thoughts on this is that some people on this forum do in fact act hostile. However, at least in my opinion, they should still be entitled to his or her personal opinion, but should seriously, seriously just shut up about it in public.

After you've tried your best to fix the issues in private and fail, the least y'all could do is not continuously talk insults about the kid in your public thoughts. not really referring to anyone here, just giving my thoughts

Go do something productive, being petty on an internet forum has to be the most idiotic waste of time I have ever even heard of. Are you not aware of the fact that one day you will die? You have a limited number of hours and each one you spend doing this is one wasted.

Just for the record, the policy is to be a bit less harsh on newcomers, not specifically BigBomb. BigBomb is a bit of an example case, though.


I don't know if this is necessarily the case. I hate that kind of community too, but I don't think BigBomb is any indication that we're going to become one, nor is letting him be going to make it any closer to that. He has changed since he first joined - you'll notice that he stopped posting reaction images, for instance. At this point, any of his posts that stand out to me as inflammatory are in response to somebody else provoking him. These are changes that happened after I started personally talking to him. My point here is that, given some time to adjust, people will change to fit a community. Sending somebody rude private messages (he sent me screenshots of the things you sent him) and telling them that they don't belong on the forum will either result in them leaving, or in them retaliating. You've just seen the latter.

Admittedly, I should probably have been keeping track of this, but these are a few examples I could scrounge up from pretty recently. It's not a full-blown problem at the moment, but that's why I'm stepping in while there's still a chance to do so. The community isn't as nice as it might seem to you. Pretty much anybody I've talked to about the forum says that they avoid posting because people are too rude.


Yeah, I probably worded that a bit too harshly. I haven't warned you for any of these posts because, frankly, you're just giving your opinion, and being pretty fair about it, too. By "shut up", I don't mean "don't tell us about your concerns" - I have no problem with that. I just mean that you shouldn't be taking matters into your own hands and trolling somebody into leaving because you (or everyone) dislike(s) them. If it comes down to whether somebody is allowed on the forums at all, take matters up with the administration, not the person himself.

Anyone else remember nostalgic stuff?

Playing those really old games such as Doom and Wolfenstein gets me a bit nostalgic, as I found my mother used to play them.
Sometimes watching an 80s movie or something makes me nostalgic even though I was born in 1997.
In fact, the 80s seemed to be a wonderful time, and some of the music is pretty cool.
