"You're all really intent on doing whatever Quint says, aren't you?"
"But aren't you curious, too? Why can't we go to Colber?"
Everyone gives this some thought.

Okay, the riddle says something about the beginning of the journey north, which must mean that we're going in the opposite direction.
After that, it says something about... condiments. Does anyone know what condiments are?"
