Did I mention I suck at airblasting?
Also I never really find myself getting caught up by projectiles. I just dodge them, and if the blast damage does hurt me then it will be significantly less powerful than a direct shot with anything.

How does a Pyro out damage a Heavy?

In close quarters, the Pyro out does everything in sheer damage.

No, not at all.

A Heavy in the very face of the Pyro does like triple the damage of the Pyro if his minigun is ready.
A demoknight can do fatal damage and even one-hit Pyros, and survive afterburn.
And even Soldiers can outdamage Pyro in close combat, as a direct rocket in close combat does 150+ damage, and is harder to reflect.
And since you said everything I am gonna list the Sentry Gun here as well.

A heavy with the same HP as the pyro that is burning him would be dead first.(pyro does more damage but has significantly less health)
The demo knight however is not as mobile as the pyro and cannot outdamage him in sheer DPS.
The soldier could outdamage the pyro, not gonna lie. However, where the pyro can set 10 people on fire and run, the soldier would just rocket 1-3 of them to death.
The level three sentry does indeed outdamage the pyro with ease. Point is that the pyro moves and the sentry is stuck. They should be a lot stronger to compensate for this.

A revved up Heavy with 175 HP easily obliterates a Pyro with 175 HP.
How is a Pyro more mobile than a demoknight? They can charge around everywhere, then lolcrit the Pyro, if they are at range, demoknight will charge and kill, if they are in melee range, it depends on where they are fighting.

Well, assuming the two are literally in each others faces and don't miss, and are both using the standard weapons, the Heavy does 520 damage/sec, while the Pyro does 139.5 damage/sec.
So uh, yeah. Heavies are kinda terrifying as hell at point blank.

I can pretty-reliably kill heavies as pyro so long as I have the jump on 'em just by zappin' them with the Degreaser and then hitting them two or three times with the Axtinguisher.

Only if they are already wound up though, if not the pyro wins hands down.

How often do you meet a heavy with less than 200 HP without being revved up/ready with SOMETHING (melee, sandvich 150up, shotgun)

Quite often when they aren't expecting a backburner Pyro to lead around the corner and toast him and his medic.

If he even has a Medic the chances for the Pyro to win is very little.

And any good Heavy jump revvs around corners.

I was guarding a point and didn't do the jump revv of some cause, and a BB pyro came, and I easily managed to kill him without dieing myself, then i threw a sandvich to stop the burning/heal a bit.

Ohh...

I realise I suck bad at this.
But I'll just blame the lag. It's unbearable, even with the lowest settings.

You make it sound as if you saw him coming, we are talking about ambushing a heavy around the corner.

I've ambushed TWO heavies and a medic as a pyro and killed 'em all, got 'em from the back with a BB.

So we were talking on the IRC just now about possibly getting a DRLFF-only server up, even if it would only be for a game or two. We have quite a bit of players, new and experienced, based on the people who've posted in this thread as well as the people from the DRLFF Steam group that I always see playing TF2.

I can't host off of my laptop. :/
It's good and all but I've tested with people in my area and they get bad lag.
