Re: The Lounge
I don't know how it is written in english, but there is an option that is like "Use this program as default to open this files" or something like that.

Re: The Lounge
Yeah, if you right click a bitmap you can just select MSPaint under the 'open with' and then the 'choose default program' assuming you're on Windows. (can you even get MSPaint on other systems?)

(can you even get MSPaint on other systems?) Yes, but my problem is that mspaint doesn't show up in the menu, or the 'Open with' window. When I manually browse for it and select it, it just ignores my orders. And yeah, I'm on win7. Nevermind, I'll just use GraphicsGale. Lizardheim wrote: Why would you even want that? Re: The Lounge
if you're on windows 7 i think you'll probably have to replace windows 7 paint with windows xp paint, otherwise you can't use xp paint as the default program.

Sometimes Boeing can be boring.

Re: The Lounge
Am I the only one that is becoming annoyed with those in our community who very recently joined and act to be our equals? Maybe I have a superiority complex, but when I was new here I tried my best to simply learn. This new generation seems to just hop in and instantly act like they know all about cortex command, and its hierarchy.

Re: The Lounge
That sounds a lot more douche-like than I am sure you intended. However your point, regardless if how worded, is pretty unfair. Are you trying to imply that just because you've been here a while, that you're better than others on the forum?

Re: The Lounge
When I was a youngin', we had to walk uphill both ways in the snow to submit our posts to Grif, who would then berate us and then grudgingly allow our posts on the board, but send us home with a swift kick in the ass and a warning not to be so dumb. All you new'uns got it easy.

Re: The Lounge
I meant relatively. I am relatively older than them, and therefore not superior, but experienced. Like driving, thinking you are a good driver does not make you a good driver, experience does... Talking from experience, of course. Of course, that post was not aimed at ALL of the new guys, just a select few. I simply did not want to name names.
wow, I just realized how many times I used the word experience... I'm sure nobody will notice.
