Abdul, you aren't making little toy scripts like most other modders. You're programming.
Nice work.

You can't it is coded into the AI of the actor itself. I'm sure you could fiddle around and make either a handheld version or give some user interface to the AI rocket Lua code.

Thanks for the information, i wish i could do that, but sadly i have no knowledge in both lua and ini. Maybe you can cope it over? But it doesn't matter, the mod work like a personal guard for our brain

Yeah, I'd really like to see a mission with this kind of smart A.I. with just a bunch of clones trying to destroy your base instead of this thing. It was fun trying to kill it, but it kind of just becomes annoying after using two or three guys just to kill one of these things.

I am having a bit of a problem you see when i start up CC, I get the following error message.... --------------------------- RTE Aborted! (x_x) --------------------------- Reading of a preset instance "Enemy Robot" of class AHuman failed in file Independent.rte/Robots.ini, shortly before line #725
The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'
You can copy this message with Ctrl+C --------------------------- OK --------------------------- is this a problem with me needing any pre-requists, or anything? Please respond

christ110, The mod has not been updated to V1 yet so some of the file paths aren't loaded properly. If you want to use the mod you would have to go into the file and convert the paths to proper file paths, and if theres lua, thats a whole different story.

How does one go about doing that... Mainly because my knowladge is limited to what I have seen in my first week of owning the game. Can you show me a tutorial or give me a link to one, because that would be fantastic.

Can you show me a tutorial or give me a link to one, because that would be fantastic. I could give you a "working" version... but the AI and the missile launcher won't be working due to lua scripts. While im at it, I might as well tell you how to change the file paths (which is actually really simple). 1 So you got an error in the Robots.ini, open up your independent.rte folder and open that file(it will open in notepad or something) 2 Ctrl+f find "Enemy Robot" or go to line 725, it seems that its a copy of robot 2 so find that, it seems there ISN'T one. 3 Do the next best thing, replace robot 2 with 'Independent', the robot that HAS been defined in the section above the whole robot 2/enemy robot section. 4 but wait we're not done because right below the robot 2/enemy robot section is "player robot" and it instances robot 1, guess what, it doesn't exist so go ahead and replace that also with 'Independent'. 5 Now it "Works".

It seems like the lua is the most important part, since the guns and AI for the unit are driven by lua.
