Re: Art Dump
I'd probably actually buy a Cortex Command lego pack, but only if they packed a mini brain jar in it.

Re: Art Dump
Everything in LDD is overpriced, but I think there is a reason. They have to hand-pick all of your bricks for you, then send it to you in your own box. It's kind of awesome that they even let you order, but the price really is a turn off.

Literally nothing done at LEGO HQ is done by hand. Robots, robots everywhere.

Re: Art Dump
All lego stuff is really expensive. I got a 50-ish piece model of the Seattle Space Needle (stands about 5"), and it cost like $20.

Re: Art Dump
I was into Lego Star Wars for a while, and gee that was pricey. We're talking uh (damn currency converters) in excess of $30 for anything decent, and nothing under $8 whatsoever. Even that stuff would fit into the palm of your hand.

Re: Art Dump
Crazy expensive indeed, for a bunch of molded plastic. It might indeed be the upkeep of the robots that drives the cost up so high. Or perhaps because there's no rival building block toy manufacturer that has as good quality.

Re: Art Dump
uh it's literally just a peice that fits the heads in it. Used in the indiana jones sets they used to do. just take a spare head and paint it all brainy.
