   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadI'm not a spriter, and I'm far from knowing technical terms and stuff, but as a player I just saw a pretty good sprite in that mech.

It's pretty cool, but again, some spriter will give a better opinion.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadI was about to make one for you but GraphicsGale is being an ass and glitching up, so I guess I can't.
EDIT: It's something wrong with your sprite. Every other image will load just fine but when I try to open yours, it just flashes for half a second. Upload your picture to somewhere else?

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadYou're uploading it as a .png.That's the problem. If I change it, it gets corrupted. Upload the .bmp version.

   |   Re: Sprite Help Thread How about that? The damned uploader seems to be converting the image, but I think that one should work.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadOutlining can do exactly what you want if you want pretty.Except gold, gold can be a ♥♥♥♥♥ sometimes. Try experimenting with more colors and make sure the outline is darker than the inside.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadThat's lovely. I'll try and work on that sprite some more. And on the other hand, what do y'all think about these?

   |   Re: Sprite Help Thread Bullpup. No stock. Standard Stock Baron. (no extra versions) Jesus, dude. It was hard trying to make your sprites look better. As a general tip, you DON'T want to use a solid black pretty much ever, on anything at all. And also, you want to use the blue-greys above the light blue colors more than you do the solid greys at the bottom. They look nicer. Plus you shouldn't just put random splotches of color everywhere, you want to add some logical shading. I didn't really do that, but that's ok.
