if you're going to attempt to ♥♥♥♥ on other people's personal taste in music, at least back it up with something interesting.
User was warned for this post - How is Sothe's joke about his music taste different than yours? Also music is one of the most subjective things in the world so please don't go around calling stuff uninteresting. It might be interesting to some people. - p3lb0x

You haven't heard of any of those bands, so how would you know ♥♥♥♥ about what's interesting?

The best way to reply to a ♥♥♥♥ is with another ♥♥♥♥. What the ♥♥♥♥? ♥♥♥♥ no.
Try to stay on topic instead of fighting for music styles.

Maybe you can put a little sense in your posts instead of continuing the derailed thread.

Anyway, to stay on topic, I was hearing grunge music today. It's cool, like it's sound, it's strong and fast, like hardcore punk but heavier and less screams.

Alice in Chains is a great grunge band. Gotta love those harmonized vocals.

I've not heard much of them. Maybe I should.
But one of my favorite bands is Smashing Pumpkins, and some of their songs are grunge like.
I like Man in the Box by Alice in Chains, and I know exactly what you mean by those harmonised vocals.

If you like heavy grunge then go for alice, even the newer albums are rather good. Nirvana isn't much more than "random junkie smokes pot and writes some songs about it".

Typical hater point of view. Let me show you why to really hate Nirvana. Their only good factor was their lyrics. They played horrible live. It takes no skill to play their songs. Kurt Cobains voice is total ♥♥♥♥. This is also why I dislike most grunge bands.
A few bands did it right. Pearl Jam was very lame at first, but eventually came as their own. Alice In Chains was alright, but I never got into them. Soundgarden was pretty good. A few post-grunge bands were alright too. Finger Eleven made some great songs, and Foo-Fighters was decent.
