I think some sort of in-game offset editor where you can drag the parts of your actor/weapon whatever to the point you want it to be, then you can save it to a "New Data" folder just like when you save something in the Gib Editor. That would save SO MUCH time when working on a mod.

Also, the soupiest mentioned it, a weapon viewer would be freakin great! One where yo could see just the weapon and it mag and such, and be able to fire it to see if everything lines up. That would be so great!

I hope Data reads through these types of threads :P

Even though it probably wont happen and it would be one helluva lot of work to get done, it would be cool if actore and craft were less like pre defined models and more like lego blocks, so you could just built your actor out of anything you want. For example you could have a four-legged actor with two arms and a weapons turret.

That would be so awesome.
Like defining all the parts you want and then add them into an actor.

Making AHumans and ACrabs as the "preset" types of actors is very limitant to mod stuff.
Even when using a lot of work-arounds and lua it is still complicated to create different stuff.

Yeah the fact that that doesn't happen is a bit retarded imho. I have no idea if it happens in the newest build but I'm a little tired of selecting guns crafts and actors each time when I know what I want as I haven't installed anything new yet.

How about you take the current preset (light Coalition with an SMG and medium digger in a rocket, that is) and you shoot it right in its stupid face because it's really freaking annoying to have to constantly remove it.

Its just three mouse clicks. But thesoupiest is right, it's quite pointless.

Unless they changed it to something more decent, like a coalition light with an assault rifle/auto shotgun and a heavy digger delivered on a dropship.
