New BBCode Tags
A few of you asked for them, so I've added both the spoiler tag and the YouTube tag. Let me know if they're working properly for you - I had to really heavily modify the spoiler tag to work with our theme, so I don't know if it's perfect.
Please don't use more than three YouTube tags in a single post, unless the extra tags are in spoilers.
To use the YouTube tags, just take the letters from the end of the URL. So, for example, this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8gdIcdVkEM Becomes this:
Code:
[youtube]G8gdIcdVkEM[/youtube]
Enjoy!
You can also add custom spoiler tags using
Code:
[spoiler=Closed state;Open State][/spoiler]

Re: New BBCode Tags
Salvaged from the other thread. Evening, oppressed and unwashed forum goers!
We have new toys today; the spoiler tag, and the youtube tag.
The spoiler tags work by hiding a section of a post inside a collapsible button, like so:
The youtube tags work by you taking the bit of gibberish at the end of a youtube link, say for example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=
zzfQwXEqYaI The part you want from that is the last bit after the =. Put that between the youtube tags and you're good to go.
Don't abuse this, or we'll beat you up.

Re: New BBCode Tags
Can we have the maximum vertical pixel size on signatures increased in light of spoiler tags?

Re: New BBCode Tags
I went ahead and doubled the maximum height to 200px. The width was already 500px, which is enough if you ask me.

TLB just updated the spoiler tag:
You can also add custom spoiler tags using

I'd like to point out the open state part doesn't work. edit: seems to be just me then.

What does it say instead of the open state? Is it only on spoilers you make, or is it for other people's spoilers too?

Nah, it does it for me too. What browser are you using, because it might just be Chrome.
