You throw the egg to the ground, smashing the shell open and sending egg all over the platform.
"Ah, I see. It would've hatched into an omelette."


GlowstickNinja (Jackson Winters) [5]:
"Oh shi-MyBAD GUYS!"
Sheepishly, you look around the scant remains of the hut for anything useful at all. Up against what was ONCE a wall, is a medium sized chest that seems to be bolted to the ground. You guess that's why its still here.
You walk over and open it, finding a slightly cloudy translucent orb, and another message, written in an oddly pointy and angular cursive.





CaveCricket48 (Kurt D. Hopkins) [3]:

He throws the egg to the ground, splattering it across the platform. Thankfully, no fetuses pop out.
"Ah, I see. It would've hatched into an omelette."
With that over, you see others developing... abilities, and decide to try your hand at it. Making things sounds good, so you think over a method for doing so in your head! Now all you need is some energy.


FoiL [4]:
Super strength? Well, that's not so easy. However, you do try a few basic exercises, and after finishing find yourself positively BRIMMING with power! You feel like ripping a phone book in half or something!


Barnox [1]:
You put your face close to the pebble, and take a deep breath to begin questioning it. The pebble is lighter than you think, and it flies into your mouth.
You immediately stop inhaling, but still swallow in shock.
You have just eaten the pebble.


Amazigh [3]:
"Unless I am mistaken, that's... Just over 2 Years."
"...2...years. You're sure?"
"Mostly. Maybe a week more or less."
Excited by the potential prospects of your abilities, you try to hone your reflexes to keep up with your new speed.
It... doesn't work. It seems there is a conflict somehow; one cannot have both Super Speed AND Super Reflexes.

"Holy ♥♥♥♥, since when could we get super powers?"
Immediately, you jump to try and gain Telekinesis. You feel something in your head, then... THEN...
*pplllpt*
Why did your mind just make a farting sound? Wait, does this mean someone already took Telekinesis? WHO. WHAT BASTARD STOLE TELEKINESIS FROM YOU.


Game Events:
"I've...been asleep for...two. Years. Ha...Haha..."
Die slumps to her knees, apparently overcome with this news. She's taking it surprisingly hard.
"They wouldn't have revoke my Agentship after such a paltry time. No, I just... deserted... without leave... or indication..."
Suddenly, she snaps back to reality.
"You, the pervert. Was there anything besides my dress where you found it?"
"Uh... There was a sorta jewelry box looking thing, but uh, that got blown away into the water."
Die's eye actually twitches as she processes this bit of information.
"OK. This doesn't need to be a problem, we just need retrieve the Chain before it gets a chance to break. Easy! So long as it hasn't sunken to the bottom of this ocean."

Tomaster, Jackson, Barnox, and FoiL are on the last platform.
Kurt and Amazigh are on the second to last platform.
dhart5000 on the second to last platform.

Tomaster [4]:
"I want wings, goddamn it."
Once again, you strain to grow wings. This time, you feel something a bit more substantial sprout from your shoulder blades. You take off your shirt to confirm, and heyo, wings!
Wait, this isn't what you asked for.
They're small. Not too small to be useless, but they're only about as long as your arm. Maybe you can jump higher or glide a little bit, but uh, you're not gonna fly with just these.



GlowstickNinja (Jackson Winters) [2]:
"One sec guys Idea time."
Okay, if you can control EVERYTHING with you mind, let's see if that can apply to just water!
A few minutes of effort later, you're no further. Maybe you're just tired from gaining telekinesis...



CaveCricket48 (Kurt D. Hopkins) [3]:
"Alright! Time to go swimming!"
Your energy? Well, you guess you could try that. You crouch down and take your shoes off, then put your hands in front of your feet. You direct your "energy" towards your feet, then use your powers to extrude it out and solidify it. When you're done, you open your eyes and see that it worked! You've got pale yellow fins extending off your feet, attached directly to the skin!
Then, you realize it was a bad idea to use your energy, as you become dizzy and fall backwards. Oh my, you'd probably drown if you tried to swim now.


FoiL [4]:
"What's in the box anyway?"
"My Chain of Thought. It... makes me much more powerful, and I am required to safeguard it. The fact that it is in the ocean instead of with me is bad enough. That it could have broken is just unforgivable."
You think about making an exoskeleton, but you've already got a skeleton inside you, silly!


Barnox [5]:
The idea to absorb the properties of the pebble comes to you.
Smooth...hard...
Oh god you just thought of becoming like a penis.
"Ack, no, wrong idea, wrong idea."
You focus on the pebble's OTHER traits, and attempt to bond with them. Somehow, mystical forces at work allow this, and your skin begins to change. It grows harder and smoother, and gains a luster to it. You tap on the ground with your knuckle, and it sounds like rock hitting rock! Sweet!


Amazigh [3]:
"Might I suggest we have the Sharks aid in the search?"
"...That is so painfully obvious, why didn't I think of that."
You leave Die to think, and turn your focus to your arms. Armor plates is a bit beyond you, but you can toughen your arms up some at least. You force the skinflesh on your arms to grow thicker, and develop a large callus on both arms, stretching the entire length of your arm. Alright, with this you could probably stop a knife. Maybe.


dhart5000 [2]:
You're most certainly not righteous enough to have an aura of light. You don't even try.


Game Events:
"Since you 7 would likely die in this ocean, the sharks shall go in your stead."
She turns to address them.
"Did you catch all that, sharks? Go find the box my Chain was in, or failing that, the Chain itself! It looks like a choker necklace made of tiny black chain links, with several stones attached. Go!"
The sharks go, jumping into the water.

After 20 minutes or so, the largest shark reemerges from the water and climbs back up the platform. It stumbles across, holds its hand out to Die, who takes something from it, then collapses to the ground. Everyone notices that the shark is not only covered in small wounds, but is missing its right arm entirely.
"Um... Where are the other sharks? And this one's arm?"

Everyone is on the first platform.
