Okay, so I saw some article about an AKB48 video game and I was like "Wow, the first game shipped 400,00 and apparently this pop idol group's last single was, like, #1 in the world or something. Must be some great music!"

Then I listened to it. What the ♥♥♥♥. It's just absolutely terrible music, and their voices are annoyingly high, and then all the videos are are the attractive members having pillow fights 'n' ♥♥♥♥ and oh god it was just awful. Hell, at least the shitty music I hear on the radio is usually CATCHY - this stuff just bothered me, almost as much as Born this Way.

Well ♥♥♥♥. I just lost all of my sprites to a horrible virus.

edit: even worse, I lost all of my word documents.

That must suck.
Well, re-doing the sprites will at least give you more experience on it.

So what did the Americans in this community do to celebrate the 4th of July?

Absolutely nothing because it was too dry in my county to shoot fireworks, and we went through some nasty wildfires not too long ago. The city had a show going on over the river, but I didn't really feel like watching.

I went to my aunt's lakehouse, where a bunch of rich people in the house next to them threw a party of epic proportions. It was fun. And by fun, I mean ♥♥♥♥ awesome.

Well I wasn't gonna do anything originally, but I got sick of all the sparklers 'n' those fountains of sparks people call fireworks nowadays, so I went '♥♥♥♥ it' and busted out what we had left over from last year. Did a show that lasted five or ten minutes, and for once, the cops didn't yell at us, so we can do it again next year instead of having to hunt for a place to light the night sky on the fourth of July.

As is customary, to celebrate the independence of our nation, I blew up a small portion of it.

To celebrate the founding of our nation we just take the day off work and go to the pub. Maybe watch some sports.
