Re: BFBC2 (gamertags etc.)
Hey, so I need some people to play this game with. My gamertag is Angsty Zuko. Yeah, it is kind of a silly name. Also, I'm on the 360.

Re: BFBC2 (gamertags etc.)
So uh, I found out how useful 12 gauge slugs are. I'm trying them out on the SPAS-12, and so far they're working good. It must suck to get sniped by a shotgun at long range. Also, what are your favourite guns? Personally I love the SV-98, preferably with 4x optics and magnum ammunition.

Re: BFBC2 (gamertags etc.)
I haven't played much because I haven't unlocked anything, so thus I can't unlock anything else. At least I only play once class.

How does having no unlocks prevent you from unlocking anything?

I think he means that because his equipment is worse than other players' that it would be more difficult for him to progress.
Which is bollocks, because you unlock things hella fast as long as you just don't suck. Sure, there are differences in unlocked weaponry- I'll take an M95 over an M24, an MG36 over a PKM, a UMP-45 over a 9A-91, and an M16A2 over an AEK-971 any day. Doesn't mean I won't kick your ass using the latter choice in every category.

And Miggles, the more you unlock the better it gets. Just sit in a corner with the AEK and gun down anyone who walks past until you get the XM8. Ragdollmaster wrote: I'll take an M95 over an M24 Does nobody like my beloved SV-98? I'm undecided on the M95. I tried using it for counter-sniping, and it went ok, and I tried using it for close range sniping, but it doesn't work. How do you use it?

Re: BFBC2 (gamertags etc.)
I use the M95 almost exclusively for very long range sniping. It has a lot of power and will usually cause instadeath with a chest hit, especially if you're using magnum ammunition, which is a relief because it's not exactly a walk in the part scoring a headshot from 1000+ meters! However, contrary to popular belief, it is NOT the most accurate sniper rifle in the game- the M24 and GOL are both more accurate than the M95. Because of its high power, though, you don't have to compensate very much for range, so it really excels as a very long range weapon, especially because it is the most powerful rifle and thus doesn't need the accuracy required for a headshot. Also, though I wouldn't recommend this, I had such incredible fun running around with the M95, a Red Dot, and magnum ammo. It's more or less a guaranteed one-hit kill, but the low rate of fire means if you miss or encounter a pack of enemies, you're kind of forced to resort to grenades or a sidearm.
I prefer the GOL over the SV-98. I know it only gets 5 rounds to a mag as opposed to the SV's 10, but the GOL is actually the most accurate rifle in the game. It also deals more damage than the SV-98.
I prefer the MG36 much more over the PKM or T88. It's more accurate and the built in scope, especially when used with the 4x attachment, lets you practically snipe enemies. It also has a bit less recoil and a fire rate equal to the M249's, which is quite a bit more than the first guns'.

The MG36's fire-rate is probably one of the easiest places to show this in the game.
