Dithering a larger area like that doesn't really work.. I also think that you can keep the background lighter.

There's still a lot of bad clusters in there but whatever. Construction is key here I think, as your forwards knee was bent backwards or else turned strangely which doesn't convey much power, and you used a pretty flat ramp for the cloth. This uses less colours (15 vs 18 with a double up) fwiw even though I expanded the purple ramp (giving the character more "pop") because I merged a lot of the other ramps.
Adding interest to bricks is a tricky thing to do. I like the texture you got but I think you also need to add some details.
I got pretty confused with the pose, and I think my edit suffered because of that..

Compare your concrete with mine, and then both of ours with a standard curb. Mine has still got things wrong with it, but suspension of disbelief should take care of that.

Ask if you're wondering about anything.

Art Dump's more for posting and discussing specific works. If you want to talk to an artist about something like their favorite color ( :???: ), it might be better to send them a PM.

Don't have one, I've seen most colours looking fabulous. I don't like teal very much.

No worries, have a close look at what I did with the ramps.

I R EAGLE

EDIT:Image

CRITIQUE IS GO

I like how you did the wing, the feathers are very artistic.

The bird looks very goofy in my opinion, mainly because of the head. (which I kinda like. :3 )

However, The bird in general is sort of off. The legs are pointed towards the viewer, while the body is pointed to the right.
We can tell since the front of the chest should be as wide as the space between the legs, but it's less. This means it's in more of a profile view than the legs.
This pose is very unnatural.

(This is easily solved by moving the bird's wing so that more of the chest is visible.)

The head is also pretty strange. My initial thoughts are that it looks more like a chicken head than an eagle head.
Part of this is that the head looks partially plucked because of the feathers sticking out of the back of the head.

The pose the bird is in is unnatural. It lacks flow, and movement. The body is angled at a very obvious angle, but the head breaks this line of movement when it just juts out skyward.

The bird's neck is very strange in that it curves inwards at both ends, again making it look like a chicken. Most eagles have fully feathered heads that make a smooth line from the top of the head to the body.

The blue thing around the bird's neck, which I assume is a bandana, isn't identifyable. If it IS a bandana, the dithering makes it difficult to identify as cloth. Most cloth is very smooth in texture, so I would avoid dithering.
The collar/bandana also lacks detailing, and could use an area with a knot or a buckle.

The legs also appear to be a little too poofy when compared to my reference.

In general the piece lacks color identity, being covered in greys, browns, and greens. A simplification of the bird is seriously in order.

My edit is in no way perfect, but I hope it gives you an idea of what I mean.
Ideally the head would be even lower, following the gesture line of the bird.

Cheers for the edit. Problem is, it's a wedge-tail not a golden eagle -> the broader chest in yours would violate the ref (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:EagleWedgetail2.jpg) note the forwards wings, smaller head and longer neck than most american eagles.
Your cloth is way better than mine :P

Edit that takes all that into account, I've really burnt too much study time with this  dem feathers.

Looks like it's changed the other one though, so here it is for those wondering what's going on:

Very happy with the new one.

In summary: I R EAGLE

Oh, neato. Never heard of a Wedgetailed Hawk, until now that is. :3

U R EAGLE

But uh, if you look at this it's easier to see that the width between the legs and the chest is equal.
Even though my edit's chest is still a lil too wide, I think widening the chest should be something to consider.

EDIT: oh woops, new version of the eagle didn't show for me when I first entered the page.

Badass.

Yeah I had to hard-refresh as well. I think I've fixed the issues though.

Glad you like it.

Gun's good, the clusters up front make it look a little knobbly but that kind of adds charm.

I've always felt that bullets would look better if they were like that in CC.

Looks good dude, only bits that look wrong are the shoulder while reloading, and the recoil.

Recoil isn't a slow, pushing force, it's a sharp kick.
However, in this case I think it's okay - it adds a lot of comedy value. :3

However, I find it strange that his back foot never moves. It makes him look kinda static.

Thanks MLC, yea, the recoil is very exaggerated and not to be taken as accurate. I didn't bother to mess with his back foot because the recoil is supposed to be blowing most of his weight back onto it.
Can't be arsed to edit minor bits since I'd have to transfer it to Jasc studio and set the speeds frame by frame all over again.

Anyway...got to playing Haven and Hearth and wanted to try something Isometric

That cube is gonna be a cabin of some sort.
