If he doesn't like it, then he'll tell me to take it off, and I will. Also, this isn't a teach bigbomb how to post topic either. Edit: Help me out here, should I render a bigger version of this?

 Re: Art Dump
You've likely all seen this: Here's full size: http://www.deviantart.com/download/2120 ... 3i9ttb.jpg, It's like 5MB and lets you look at all the compromised lines and thousands of strands of grass in all their glory. I'll touch it up later on, perhaps.

[section of post retained due to it being useful]
Geti, using that beautiful image as my desktop right now. In your pixel art, do you deliberately keep a consistent style, or is it just a style of drawing that you enjoy?

Oh geez Its already in Off-topic. Well when drlff tars and feathers him please give me a call. I'd love to see it. And BigBomb a few tips: A. Drop the superiority complex. No-one likes that. B. Don't image post. this isn't 4chan. No-one likes Image posting. C. Try to be somewhat friendly. See A. And to stay on topic: Give me some CC/ tips on running poses (cause I'm bad at 3/4th's running.)

Goddamn do I have to babysit you lot every day? Art thread, post art and critique only. Warnings out, bannings will be next. Also, beware to the person that incites the next BigBomb v. DRL spat. I will not be as kind, as this is getting old. That includes you, BigBomb.

Barnox wrote: In your pixel art, do you deliberately keep a consistent style, or is it just a style of drawing that you enjoy? Mix of both. It's a culmination of mostly good pixel art practice (cluster optimisation mostly, though I still band every now and again) and how I draw (outlines and not too much shading). It's also kind of handy for people to be able to identify art I've done as mine without a label once they've seen a few images. When it comes to high-res painting/drawing I'm still playing around. GlowstickNinja wrote: Give me some CC/ tips on running poses (cause I'm bad at 3/4th's running.) Dont do 3/4 running until you've done side on and front on running. Your legs in the running pose are longer than in the stationary one I think, though without time to measure it up I won't be able to say for sure http://www.idleworm.com/how/anm/02w/walk1.shtml is useful.

 Re: Art Dump
No worries, nothing like a walk cycle to stump a budding animator.
Also, get graphicsgale if you aren't using it already just for the ease of animation viewing. I use photoshop or GIMP for spriting the details just cause I'm more familiar but gale for animating just because its actually made for pixel art and pixel animation, and it shows. A less outdated editor wouldn't go astray though, I've been meaning to try promotion some day but never find the time. Oh dear I'm rambling about raster editing software again, night guys.
