I have a few ideas for new classes.
I've always thought there should be a stealthy class in this game. I'd figure he'd handle just like the spy from TF2, but cannot be moving while cloaked. I also think there should be no backstab-like attack, or that if there is it should take some time and not only be from behind, because that's hard to do in a 2D game where everyone is always moving. His knife should also do minimal damage when not being stealthy. As for my second idea, I think there should be a horseman or otherwise vehicle based class. Now obviously you won't automatically switch into a man on a horse by pressing F; that would be silly. Instead you should have to construct stables or create a war machine. You can then take control of it as the cavalry class. The advantages to this would probably be A. transportation, obviously, and B. hit-and-run attacks. As it stands now, each class moves to slow to pull of very successful fast attacks, but with cavalry that won't be a problem. Finally, I think there should be a craftsman, and the current builder should be changed. The craftsman would construct items such as doors and walls, as well as advanced mechanisms such as the aforementioned war machines or the current catapults. The craftsman would then give these materials to the builder, who would build them.

Wow,slaves dig gold and materials,others build but cant dig :o that would be such a WIN!!!Hell of a teamwork time!You dig,take those materials in some ?material vault? "MV" and builders come and pick that up to go to build...Horses?Isnt that a bit difficult cause of all the tunnels and blocks sizes?Horses should be so small that it would be just funny to have them standing only on one pair of legs lol What about :"Napoleon's Army was the first to assign people to help the wounded. They were called the litter-bearers, made up mostly of inept and expendable soldiers." So you have those 3 little hearts,loose 2 and you have one left BUT you get 50% slower and once again BUT, you cant E+F and the one who kills you get everything you have ...Litter-bearer comes and heals you <3 <3 and off you go!Oh so much ideas :s

Code: - added s_system config variable to set sound system (for troubleshooting) (KAG/Base/Scripts/autoconfig.gm - global s_system = 0 - autodetect (default) 1 - DirectSound 8 2 - DirectSound 3 - Win MM 4 - ALSA (Linux) 5 - Core Audio (MacOSX) 6 - No sound) Go into autoconfig and set "s_system" to 6 I guess, no sound is better than no game.

I can't even filter the good from the bad anymore because every man, his grandma and her cat are suggesting new classes, blocks, mechanisms etc. I'm glad that isn't happening here. ATTENTION:Guys (and gals), what do you think about us making an expanded, RTS-esque CaptureTheFlag-meets-DwarfFortress mode? We're likely to pitch it as a "proper fortress sim", with technology advancement, class upgrades, many constructable buildings (kinda like workshops in DF I guess), multiple spawn points, more contraptions, food production, a steel industry, trade, etc? The catch: it'd cost at least 10 bucks when in development, probably 20 bucks afterwards. Discuss, we're toying with the idea but I figured I'd see what DRLFF thought as well. Addendum: The current mode of play is going to be expanded a little (with the CTF element added and a few buildings) and will remain free, this new mode would be KAG: Premium. I'm also likely to be able to afford to pixel everything at twice the size if this happens to sweeten the deal of buying the game -> you could play the current game-mode with prettier sprites too after giving us some coin

WTH guys!! Help!!
I don't know why but everytime I start the game I am greeted with a graphics problem, I couldn't even see my mouse(it's a white square) at times! Adding to that, I couldn't tell anything which is which....sadly. Something wrong?

Something's wrong your end and it sounds like your graphics drivers. Try uninstalling, updating your graphics drivers, and then reinstalling.
