He leaves his rifle where it is at his side and leaps up to grab a hold of a branch. (3+FoF+Berserk=5): The branch bends under his weight and he swings around the tree to surprise the Panther hiding behind it. (3+FoF+FB&E+Berserk=6): His feet connect with the cat's face with a solid thwump and the branch he's on snaps. Keeping the momentum from the swing, he lands right on top of the snarling cat, pushing it to the ground. (3+RAGE+Berserk=5): Both him and the Panther roll back to their feet at the same time. The Panther growls at him and - in response - he roars back. The cat shrinks away for a moment and Andrew whips his M4 around and plants the end of the barrel into its face.

(3+SlowMotion+InstictualActions=5): He flicks the knife over his shoulder with his thumb and spins around in his crouch, not even flinching at the two glowing eyes leaping at him. (3+SlowMotion+Cybernetics=5): He twists one foot and kicks outward as the Panther glides forward through the air. His boot connects with the very base of the knife's hilt and the cat impales itself on the blade from the force of his kick. The lifeless body just falls straight down to the ground with a thump. Vlad pulls his knife out at wipes it on the cat's fur. Maria's jaw practically hits the ground.

Ruben and Johnny look at each other with raised eyebrows.
Asfer waits for the two of them to get in front of him and he follows behind, wary of those crazy-big panther things. As he walks he keeps one eye on the surroundings and one-eye on his parameters screen, setting the order of the grenade reload cycle. He sees a flash of movement from one side and hastily finishes the reload parameters without concentrating.
"Asfer! Hey big mecha dude! C'mon!"
He takes a final look behind him and quickly jogs back behind the others.

The trees begin to spread out so he picks a good thick one to sit behind. As he stops to crouch the makeshift crutch he made out of that wooden torch makes a snapping noise, so he breaks it in half and straps it to his boot to keep his sore ankle straight. He then looks up after tying his splint and notices Asfer is lagging behind a bit.
"Asfer! Hey big mecha dude! C'mon!"
Asfer looks back behind him once before coming.

Without waiting for anyone, the VN Warrior Mech then just heads off into the trees in search of a wider area to fight in. It doesn't even notice that every tree it passes gets pushed over or broken somewhat because of its bulk, but does eventually get to a more open area. However, the trees here look like they are much thicker that the ones back there, so it's kind of a win-lose result.

Advere tries to keep an eye on his allies, prepared to help anyone who needs it, but in doing so, he neglects the area immediately around him. He feels a sudden tingle on the back of his neck, and before he can finish whirling around, the panther crashes into him, knocking him to the ground easily despite his superhuman strength. The beast immediately goes for his jugular, but it hardly touches his neck before he headbutts it, stunning it for a second, and then he punches it square in the chest (Roll + CQC = 3 ) It flips backwards from the force, but lands on all fours, growling and snarling. This one seems more aggressive, but before it can attack, a gunshot rings out and a bullet smashes into its face, sending the cat flying backwards and onto the ground. It doesn't get up. Advere looks back to see Damien in the distance. "Nice shot! ...would have been helpful a little earlier, though."

Blue draws Cohlichimarde and moves around at a fast pace, hoping to find a panther. She sees a small flash of gold in the bushes- a pair of eyes. The panther immediately flees, but she leaps into the brush and slashes towards the fleeing shape, cleaving off the tip of its tail. Surprised by the sudden hurt, the cat trips and gets tangled in the brush. Blue quickly finishes it off with a solid chop to the head, and then she yanks out Cohlichimarde and walks back onto the lighted trail.

Die stops in a small clearing, feeling a sharp presence on either side of her, and shoots out flaming chains on both sides. The left chain flies and wraps around a tree trunk, but the right wraps around a fleshy target. She yanks on it and a dark cat flies out of the woods, unable to pull itself out of the fiery collar around its neck, and Die slams her arm into the face of the oncoming panther, breaking its neck and killing it instantly. She notices a small burn on the back of the panther- it's the same one that she hurt just minutes ago. "Knew I'd get you."
