   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadI say those look much better. I mean the Cortex Command-ified versions, on the right I presume.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadOk, general question, how do you make a big, flat metal plate look good, using the CC palette? I'm using the gray-scale right down the bottom, under the purple-y one, as my basic shading, but.. It's just boring. Help!

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadThanks Lizard. It's hopefully going to be the German version of Major's Japanese walker.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadCould always detail it like this: With corners explosed to the weather having the paint flake off, revealing the metal underneath, aswell as some cracks here and there.

   |   Re: Sprite Help Thread not sure why you were making it so dark. my edit may or may not be worse than yours but the colors are closer to the reference picture at least.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadAlright, I've been trying to do my dream idea of Von Neumann machines in Cortex Command. I've already decided on how they are going to function, but, I can't sprite if my life depended on it. I've got a source image : But I don't know how much detail I can get into a drop ship size craft, and I'm not sure what it's scale should be.

Looking awesome by the way.
