Post Re: Osama Bin Laden Dead
I somehow got the image of Osama playing DnD and Vidya all weekend in his Pakistani mansion's basement with his advisors and friends, when his health advisor says "You should get outside sometime, being holed up for two days can't be good for your health". Osama took a stroll outside, and is promptly shot by a Predator drone/a group of SEALs/CIA hit men.

His last words were: "I hhhhate mondays"

My take on it: America is overcelebrating (there were people forming a celebratory mob at my school apparently, I was asleep at that point).
There should be no pride in killing, only in ending the war sooner.

I think the same. After all, I don't know, I have this strange feeling. It sucks.

I wouldn't be scared, I would be proud.

Even if those cowardly radicals DO counterattack (which is very, very likely), we will hit back harder and en masse.
/patriotism /nationalism

EDIT:
And why shouldn't we be proud in killing? We just ended the life of an enemy. We deserve to be happy.

Enemy? It's stupid. We are all human, right?

I guess most people forgot the point that everyone is human, rather than christians, muslims, americans or arabs.

No one should be proud on killing, war, etc.
Seriously, it makes no sense to me.

Enemy is not a race, but a group of people (that sounds so contradictory but I think you will get the point). I do not want to kill muslims, just radical muslims. I could not care less about the rest of them.
Also just because someone is human, does that mean we should not kill him? If we can kill animals, we can kill humans.
As in if we can kill at all, we can kill humans. Not trying to say humans or any group of people/race of people are not human.

I don't think that killing humans at almost any point could be a solution.
Just that. Everyone should have a second chance and try to correct it's mistakes. Everyone.

And don't compare killing animals with humans, that's way to different. That we can kill, we absolutely can, but if we should, we shouldn't.

What is truly the difference between killing an animal and killing a human? They both end a life. I understand that ethically they are polar, but fundamentally they are the same.

Yeah uh, there's a difference you know.

The first thing I heard was CIA. That was about 2 seconds after the news report came on.

Shortly afterwords came conflicting reports of the success belonging to the CIA, NSA, Army Rangers, Marines, SEALs, and even Libyan nationalists for some reason (who the ♥♥♥♥ thought THAT was legitimate?)

tl;dr -> Hindsight is 20/20, ♥♥♥♥ was still unconfirmed when I said that.

Yes, Darkdoom, that IS a dumb, close-minded, and literal view. Good for you that you can recognize that instead of sounding like a twat.

When did he beat us? We did not retreat. Our leader is not dead. We are ready for more.
I do not see a defeat, but a single round lost.

Ready for more? Really?
Alright, when things get out of hand by any motive (and I think there are many) no one would have wanted this crap to really happen.

Really, this thing of the American Ego maybe didn't get hurt, and they are feeling happy and stuff, but that when someone wins someone has to lose, and losers never like bragging winners.

This is just going to end bad.
