Re: Terraria
If the combat was worth a damn this might look like an ok game. Something hard like Castlevania or something.
But no, it has a sword that swings 360 degrees at 500 swings per minute, rendering you invulnerable to all forms of attack.
This is also why Minecraft doesn't interest me.
I know it's more about the building and stuff, but building your little fort to protect you from monsters is so meaningless with they aren't a threat. There are plenty of block building games where you don't have to bother with meaningless adversaries.

I know it's more about the building and stuff, but building your little fort to protect you from monsters is so meaningless with they aren't a threat. There are plenty of block building games where you don't have to bother with meaningless adversaries. They died tons of times through the LP. There are tons of enemies that require some tactics and maneuvering, the worms which can attack at any angle, the demon eyes and meteor-heads which fly, the imps which shoot at you through blocks, hell even the zombies during blood moons look overwhelming. On the other side I kind of agree that once you get better stuff most of the enemies seem underwhelmingly easy and you can pretty much sit there and take hit after hit without coming close to dying, as seen in Pbat's later LPs.

Re: Terraria
I was a bit sad when I found a leaked beta. And sadder when I saw it actually worked.

God damn it Internet, can you not keep some things to yourself? Why pay for a game if you can just steal it?
