Re: WBC v Anonymous | Part 2
Good for you? I entirely called off buying anything from Sony after reading about how they handle DRM, and this is just the icing on the cake as far as I'm concerned.

Ouch, just when i was about to stop useing my PS2 as a voodoo doll. They must all be using Macs, that would explain everything.

♥♥♥holes Quote: Europe's Playstation blog previously said the company was investigating "the possibility of targeted behavior by an outside party," but that message has since been removed. Hacking group Anonymous, which attacked Sony's servers earlier this month, claims no involvement. Anger is in the wrong direction.

Yeah, while I still hate Anonymous, I'm not so sure this is their doing - I mean, it's one of the more likely possibilities, the way I see it, but I'm withholding judgement until someone says for sure what's going on.

Re: WBC v Anonymous | Part 2
You kind of left out the part where they'd been attacking it before. Sure, they said they've stopped, but it isn't like it's impossible that people are still attacking it. I still don't think it's them, but it's a possibility. Oh, and I don't get why you're being so cynical about it - it's an inconvenience, I could see why people would get annoyed. I mean, I hate when the bus runs late to school and I have to book it, running 3 miles in potentially -34° so I'm not late. Sure, I can live without riding the bus, but it makes my day less shitty.

Re: WBC v Anonymous | Part 2
She's got a beef with Sony for their DRM policy, that could have something to do with it.

Way to bring irrelevant, unverified factors in and subsequently make insinuations based on them, mate.
The current state with PSN being down doesn't really appear to have many of the signs you would look for when trying to associate it with Anonymous, so I'd hold on before attributing it to anyone.

Re: WBC v Anonymous | Part 2
Last I knew, having the PSN be down is like having XBL be down, which in no way affects your ability to play (most) games. I'm simply floored by how much anger you're directing toward Anonymous because they might've had a few members attacking it, in comparison to the other things they've done (good and bad). Your sense of scale annoys me.

If I'm not wrong (and maybe I am), in the movie "A Clockwork Orange" it is said: A Clockwork Orange Script wrote: God prefers the people who choose to do evil than people that is forced to do good.

Re: WBC v Anonymous | Part 2
That needs a lot of context to really be a useful piece of information. In your interpretation, is endorsement of authority a good thing? Whose perspective is taken when defining good and evil? What are the criteria for being forced? To what extent does predestiny or environment play a role?
