Update!
Craft hijacking Elites make appereance. These jetpacking, plasma launching horrors are the reason to the Zombiebot's explosive spread.
Elite hijacks craft (context sensitive attack, shoot the craft at point-blank) -> Drones, and they gather metal to promote into an Elite. All while producing Grunts.

Oh who cares if it's a valid contest entry, its flipping cool regardless.
If you find the time (such as when you're done with the actual machine creatures) you should apply your rez code to a coalition heavy, call it an immortal. Seeing one of those guys pull themselves together after being blown apart would be cool.

You really should get some new pics to show the new stuff.Just don't give away the super special things they can do in them.This is absolutely INCREDIBLE.It's sweet how they are essentially self-replicating if there is a supply of crafts.I still don't understand,what exactly do the Drones harvest?Because I never managed to make them upgrade by destroying weapons(which is what "harvesting metal" implies to me).

Aah.So I don't have to destroy weapons to harvest them,just go close to them?Cool,although destroying weapons would be kinda nicer.Congratulations on winning the contest,these guy's "economy" is more of an ecosystem.

Anyway to stop them from reforming? been slugging it out with them using SAW which is awesome but it gets damn hard when 1 bot reforms 10 times XD

Loo- -ng break. But yeah, I really hate actors. Current AI scripting, too. Also, bad at spriting. Especially in spriting actors. We'll see what the next build brings.
