   |   LEGO IslandLEGO Island was probably the best game of my childhood, and I recently got the urge to play it again. Of course it doesn't compare with more recent games, what with the highly sensitive controls and graphics, but it is definitely the sort of LEGO game I like. Anyone else remember it?

   |   Re: LEGO IslandI had the second one. It wasn't very good, from what I remember. Unkillable enemies, lame levels, completely linear. Urgh.

   |   Re: LEGO IslandLego island locked my screen sideways on my old pc. Took me ages to fix it, but in the short time I could actually play it, it was pretty fun. The entire story rested about you disobeying a sign if I remember.

   |   Re: LEGO IslandAye, the second one is not to good. And apparently, the 'no pizza' sign changes to a 'no pizaz' sign when you play as Pepper.

   |   Re: LEGO IslandIf you need to get it working on Win Vista/7, just download d3drm.dll and place it in the LEGO Island folder, then set the compatibility modes of the two LEGO Island .exes to Windows 98/ME and run in 640x480.

Also, does anyone remember the door in the side of the cliff where a pirate or something would talk to you?

   |   Re: LEGO IslandThe door in the cave? Yeah, I remember that, first instance of a horror theme in my gaming life, second was finding the bricks the Brickster scattered across the island, the chirping was pretty scary at the time.
