My Torch can do mobile IRC, has both a touchscreen and full keyboard, a 5.0 mp camera, and also emulates GBC pretty decent as well. I also wrote this thread with it. Now I can truly oppress forum dwellers no matter where I am!

Touch screen awesomeness. You just look really random when your talking into it, i swear to god everyone stares when you hold your watch up to your head and start talking.

My previous phone was at least four years old, had all the paint chipped off and had the battery held in with a rubber band. Once, a person was joking that he'd empty his water bottle on it. I unscrewed the cap, emptying the water directly on to it and then we played cricket with him using the empty bottle as a bat and me tossing the phone as a ball. The phone worked perfectly well, because there wasn't much left to break to begin with.

Mine's broken to the point it won't ring when i receive a call, which I think is due to a freak accident with a magnet breaking the part of the disk memory storing which ringtone is selected, because upon entering the tone select screen it instantly crashes and then resets to the home screen. I might try to edit that back and see if I can fix it...
I'd buy it again in an instant. $40 3 years ago and still does what I use it for: texting and reminders. It can also do fun tricks like exploding apart and going swimming, but I've stopped doing them really.
I've almost worn through all of the printed letters on the keypad.

Poor mans smartphone. Sure, I can't access wifi, but I have a god damned gps merged with a phone for 150 bucks.

It can run Android (2.2 and 2.3), Honeycomb (Nothing really works, though), WP7, and they're working on MeeGo as well. If Apple wasn't so protectionist we'd probably have iOS too. Heh.



If you really believe that BS, then just use dolphin browser. It's better than the default browser anyway. It's got tabs, gestures, plugins, themes, and an easily accessible bookmark/browsing history. Just swipe right.
