Hey... Bad news. My life is becoming more and more busy and Cortex Command has faded out of my life for the most part.
Without other people doing it, Sweet Dreams will almost certainly never be finished. However, there are a lot of good mission makers out there and I'm sure someone could do it.
I have attached a very abstract plan of what could be the future of Sweet Dreams. There are no concrete rules– you have the freedom to do whatever you want with it. It contains many resources such as the tileset of the castles in SMW, useful SMW sounds so you don't have to search for them later, and explanations for a lot of things.
It would really be great if someone would step up and do #2. Some person could do #2 and a different person could do #3 even.

I wondered where this had gone. It would be a shame to watch this die, and I'd be happy to try and carry it on, unless a better candidate takes up the offer.

Thanks! I'm glad someone responded. Just saying, programming the cutscenes might be really different from what normal mission programming is like to you. Is anyone else willing or capable?

I'd like to say I got quite far with this, but truth be told I didn't. I requested and received dragonxp's permission to use his Koopa Troopers, I started turning the thwumps into doors, and I got the lava to bubble nicely as a sceneobject. If you want what I have so far PM me and I'll gladly hand it back.

Well, I basically handed it to you, so... It's up to you whether you want to hand it back to me or not. I don't like being unfamiliar with stuff, so I'd probably redo everything if I were to work on it....

I've just started work. I've found the castle door opening sound; I'll add it to the first mission in the next release. I've been busy taking screenshots of things with my emulator, and all is well so far. This is going to be cool!

I must be missing something. This is a skirmish activity, correct? I select "Sweet Dreams" as the activity and the map, but it then asks me to assign the teams, but everything except Player 1 is locked out. Help, please?
