Ok. Me and NCB are making a COD:Black Ops mod, and we need a little help... please
First, we need sounds.
Second, we will need lua.
Credit will be given, also something that has monetary value*.




*The something may be worthless at first, but over time will accumulate value, and can be returned for more credit.

I might be able to get some sounds


Edit: Might not be able to get actual CoD: Black Ops sounds, but if anybody owns it on Steam, you can go into the file directory and get the sounds from there.

I only own it on the PS3, and my partner is just a noob who doesn't own it all all.
Any sounds that are near the original are good though. I can't seem to find anything that really sounds like most of the Black Ops guns.

I got's me some Lua. PM me and I'll throw scripts at you.

Ok, I found the sound files. All weapons I guess? I think I might just upload the files to some sort of file sharing site.

EDIT: Or if you have the game I can tell you where to find them. They're in the main file, so far I have found weapon sounds in the iw_15.iwd and iw_24.iwd files. Which you can open with winrar.

Yes, all weapons. and I would prefer it if you just uploaded them, because doing anything with pc-ps3 connections are a pain.

Maybe I can help on the sound (just maybe) cuz I got the game on PC and I just appear to know how to open the .iwd files but i'm figuring out how to open the files inside the .iwd files. I'll try my best

Hippy, I got all the sound files now but its 1.5 GB haha
So I'm classifying the necessary sounds and convert it from .wav to other extension

The files just make me gone crazy man so confuse, lots of folder with un-understandable name !!!

I did a bit of digging, apparently all the gun sounds and such are hidden away in encrypted files with the models and animation files. Good luck digging those out. Best you can do is probably to record the sounds.
