goddamn you don't really appreciate the sheer quantity of white space on facebook until you notice that you could fit the actual content of the site into one of those monitors twice

Re: Monitor Setups
I have two 1024x1280 monitors (15' I believe) sitting next to each other, as of two days ago. One of them has been sitting around for a while, so I figured I'd put it to use - turns out it's nearly the same model as my other monitor.

Re: Monitor Setups
How are those treating you? I may replace my oldish 19 incher with something like that. From what I've seen there's really no point in acquiring a regular tft right now. LED's are just as good, they cost about as much (well, maybe an extra 50 or so bucks) and spend a lot less energy.

They're great. I've got the syncmaster BX2331 23" model. great viewing angles and blacks are pretty deep. Both monitors together use the same power as my old tft. So pretty much great all round, only problem is you cant tilt the monitor or adjust the height.

Re: Monitor Setups
I just have a single monitor, 1900x1200 24''. Thinking of going for a 30+inch when I get a job, but I don't know, is it hard to take everything in, Pask?

I just have a 23" 1680x1050. Don't think I really need to upgrade.
