Russian Battlefield Equipment [Minor Update]
No download because the uploader got corrupted and I have no backups.Consider this dead, unless I can find a copy of the folder somewhere on my computer. Here's a mod I made, it's supposed to add a few guns I like, and troops to Cortex Command. I made it when I didn't really know what I was doing, and the things I already know about it are: The trooper, and some guns are blatantly ripped off from Naxete's mods. The sprites are bad. Here's some screenshots of what it includes. Sorry for the lack of actual post content, the OP was kinda lost in space.

Re: Russian Battlefield Equipment, Now Remastered.
your sprites lack natural feel, but other than that, very good job.
Best advice is keep working on and improving this mod till you get better and better at modding.
EDIT: Also who the hell is Coops9737?

Re: Russian Battlefield Equipment, Now Remastered.
I really like the way the smg feels, but it makes the ak47u seem a bit redundant. The explosions still look somewhat off, but I can't really put my finger on what exactly needs fixing. The sprites aren't the best but they definitely aren't terrible or anything. I think the fire rate on the machine gun could be lowered a tiny bit, still.

Do what Coops did with S.A.W. Keep improving it until it's almost as good as UniTec. The soldier's feet look odd. Might want to take a look at that.

Re: Russian Battlefield Equipment, Now Remastered.
To some extent, I think mbbird is right. For instance, the Dragunov sprite seems much too bulky and awkward in the barrel's grip (I think that's what it is, anyway.)
However, I don't know that it's any more than personal taste, in the end.

Wow, i like this. The pistols look a little strange but everything looks really nice, and the guns just feel right. Great work!!! PS: are you going to work on this or would you be available to do some halo sprites?

Re: Russian Battlefield Equipment, Now Remastered.
By the way, the 'varjag' is a .40 caliber pistol, not a rifle of any sort.

Re: Russian Battlefield Equipment, Now Remastered.
Coops@: I cant really put my finger on what makes the sprites so awkward, but in the first place, I'm not even a good spriter.
Urch@:Yes, the I know the sprites are pretty bad, in my opinion, but I'll lower the fire rate of the Machine Gun.
Natti@: The soldiers feet are fine, what you see is the position they take while the actor is falling downwards.
Mbbird@: Its not that great of a mod, but I like modding, and this is the best stuff I can make at the moment, but if you don't like it, don't download it. Also, the Varjag I have in the mod is supposed to be a fictional gun.
Nocifer@: I'll try to improve the Dragunov sprite.
Fail Flail@: Thank you for the kind words! No, I don't think I'll be working on this, except for maybe a minor update every now and then, so I guess I can make some stuff for you, but I just barely managed to make these sprites... PM me with your ideas and requests.

I feel kinda left out...of the credits...
anyway, I like the way you redid the soldier, minus the feet.
the rocket has some more punch to it than before, which is good.

Re: Russian Battlefield Equipment, Now Remastered.
As you guys know, I'm not that good of a spriter, so if some skilled spriter would kindly help me out with this mod and others, it would be appreciated. Of course, lots of credit will be given.
