Re: CorTool - Mac's First Mod Manager
Glad to help.
Basically, you simply put the program somewhere (I put it next to Cortex Command in a folder called "Games") and then run it. It should ask you to locate the game, and once that's done it will display the mods you have installed. It is also able to install new mods, delete ones you do not want any more, and toggle mods on and off.

Re: CorTool - Mac's First Mod Manager
... Are you, by any chance... A Microsoft Windows user? This is a program for the Mac OSX port of Cortex Command, and will not run on Windows.

Re: CorTool - Mac's First Mod Manager
Thanks again for providing a mirror, PhantomAGN. The server should be back up now and downloads/updates should work again.
EDIT: Has anyone actually tested 1.21 on Tiger yet? Xcode 4 beta is telling me that NSToolbar isn't supported in 10.4

Re: CorTool - Mac OS X Mod Manager
Very sorry for the massive bump, but I'd like to give a small update.
It seems Apple has decided to charge $5 for Xcode 4 as opposed to the free Xcode 3. Needless to say, I am less than amused. Apple hate aside, I've already purchased this much-praised IDE and I await trying it out with no less than testing its Git integration by working on CorTool. I'm still working on the behavior of the Preferences window.
In other news, any fans of CorTool that have jailbroken iPod Touch 4G's should look up "HDREnabler" and "HD Photographer" on Cydia, both of which being of my invention.
See ya when my Apple-induced rage wears off.
(Yes, I know $5 is nothing, but seriously, they're just charging out the wazoo for stuff ever since the Mac App Store. eg. FaceTime for Mac.)
EDIT: I just realized that I've maintained the server in my bedroom for a little over a year just to keep the download link and update system active.

Re: CorTool - Mac OS X Mod Manager
And many thanks to you for your efforts! $5 is a little odd, but you get a pretty good IDE for the price, and if you're a registered dev (and therefor paying $99 a year for the privilege to use the App Store) it's "free." Unrelated sidenote; have you played with Lion? It's frigging fantastic.

PhantomAGN wrote: if you're a registered dev ... it's "free." ...♥♥♥♥. I'm a registered dev. Why wasn't I told this in some arrogant email? Excuse me while I demand a refund. EDIT: Sorry about that. You're very welcome. It's my pleasure to help out the community of a game with such potential. As for Lion, I tried installing it but it keeps failing half way through. I think I'll just wait for the next build. EDIT: Xcode 4 is so amazing that it shows me what I've done since my last commit to the git repo. Now I can pick up exactly where I left off and know what I've done so far. All this without setting anything up whatsoever. I just installed it, ran it, and clicked "CorTool" when it loaded. This is a developer's heaven. http://grab.by/9va8EDIT: http://grab.by/9xKsExpect an update soon. EDIT again: Well, so much for that. It seems I've hit a few snags that I'll need to work out. One includes actually losing the contents of the update server . I could have sworn I put that .zip somewhere. Either way, I'll get it back, even if I have to manually recreate the appcast.

Re: CorTool - Mac OS X Mod Manager
I have downloaded the tool but I cannot "point it to" the CC file within OSX. Please advise or point to instructions.
Thanks in advance.
I am running:
MAC OSX 10.7.5

Re: CorTool - Mac OS X Mod Manager
This tool is so old and obsolete is isn't funny. The sheer effort needed to update it would be enormous. Handy tip, check the date o the last post in future.

I know how old the post is, not asking for tips on how to read forum posts.
