Post [InMakes]Community Default ModPack?
Would anyone want this.

A pack of community recommended mods (recommended from expierenced users) that someone could get to greatly enhansing their CC expierences, but not greatly increase load times, or having to sift through the many not to good mods. (no offence most are cool, but unbalanced). If you have been on the forums for a while, or know how to mod, you could make or recommend mods for this.

Also some things (like aal money cheat) could be removed before put in the pack.

Do you mean a bunch of the best mods put into one .rte? I think that is a pretty good idea, but you might have to sift through a lot of suggestions, because it mainly goes into personal preference when it comes to "good" mods.

I would like a small compilation of enhancement mods, not content. Like no actor bellyflopping and that stable craft script and stuff like that.

If someone will make it please include these for making my day:
- A compilation of CC48's tools in one convenient package,
- The Cauterizer (Azukki),
- Nano rifle (Finndude),
and :geek:
- Nurses (LowestFormofWit),

I wouldn't mind a "B23 Mod Compilation" like the B20 which I still use with B23, but the person to compile will have to ask the creators first I guess.

This is especially a good idea for those who want to know what it was that made the game great before B24. Yes, the answer is "great mods by great modders."

Also, I must add "All mods are great, but some are greater than others." for making it safe.

Just VERY cool things that CC should not do without

IMO it would be better not to have any large factions but some small weapon packs and things that improve the gameplay, like SmartBrain and L&P Fortifications (aka Premade Bunkers).

That's super subjective. For example I've never had any version of AAL or Darkstorm in my folder for more than one session of CC.

I agree with Contrary on both counts. A pack of passive enhancement modifications would be nice. Even though I personally love DarkStorm, that sort of thing really is purely a matter of taste, and if you want "good" mods, just download them. Compiling them into one .rte would not save time, would not save space, and would be a whole bunch of effort for no real benefit.

Yeah, just add enhancers to the game. Premade bunkers and AI-Problem-Solver scripts should do the trick.
To make it (maybe) even more complete (without going too far from CC) would be adding thesoupiest combined forces, those are nice expansions for vanilla content.
Really, if the first time I played CC I had that kind of things, I wouldn't have stopped playing it for (somewhat) a lot of time.

Still, I can see a 'CC enhancement pack' which has bunker expansions, AI 'fixes', some scenes that is fun playing in, and various useful tools or weapons (like cc48's grappling gun, telekinesis rock etc) in it to provide a richer 'beginner' experience. Maybe I'll compile one sooner or later.

Isn't this just another "Best modders of all time" all over again?

Really I see it is people have different tastes and im sure they have their own mods in their directory that they like but is that not close enough to a mod package?

This is different.
Well, somewhat.
The point in here is to pick some mods that are very basic and simply enhance the vanilla content, rather than adding huge factions with a lot of complicated stuff and all that thing.

Well, at least that's the point from about 4 posts ago.
