Re: What NOT To Do In CC
offtopic: I have found that the spulunker grappling gun mod is VERY useful since the nerfed jet packs, data could make the grappling gun a default weapon, and just buff them a little bit, it actually adds a cool gameplay mechanic.....
ontopic: NEVER, NEVER, dont modify crap price to 100, to prevent crab bombs on multiplayer with a friend, also never forget to set light digger, skeleton, and a drop crate to the price of 10, to prevent people running out of money.....

Re: What NOT To Do In CC
About actors without jetpacks, it was a mission, so I had to.
Do not attempt to shoot down a rocket with a pistol, you will damage it, but you won't kill it.
A compact assault rifle is better than heavy pistol or anything costing about the same.
Do not give the AI control of ur units before you set them to sentry so they won't wonder off and die.

Re: What NOT To Do In CC
When you are attempting to shoot down a drop ship, always aim for the thrusters. It is a common mistake to aim for the main part of the Dummy dropship's thrusters, but they are guarded by annoying housings that are part of the fuselage. You should always go for the bottom of the thrusters, where the jet comes out. Otherwise, you will waste ammo on a near-impossible task.

Re: What NOT To Do In CC
An Uber Cannon can bring down a dropship's engine down, no matter how strong the dropship is, the engine would be destroyed.
Packing a drop pod with stones and bombs makes it a makeshift bunker buster capable of tearing through a concrete bunker module.

Wasn't this supposed to be a "What NOT to do in CC"? =P Do not use RPC as diggers. It's not a good idea, always someone loses a limb, and it won't necesarily be your enemy.

Re: What NOT To Do In CC
Never auto shotgun the engine of an enemy dropship from a slight distance away. If you do, here are the steps to avoid terrain rape and crushing of human/robotic body.
1. make sure if you plan on doing this with a brain unit, bring an RPG and a auto shotgun.
2. Fire twice at the hostile engine.
3. Run like hell while a flailing dropship flies after you.
4. pull out the RPG and fire at the dropship.
5. Keep running and probably don't profit, because you die from flying remaining engine or debris.

never, when modding, give a particle extreme bounciness in negative or positive direction. only bad, terrible things will come from it.

Re: What NOT To Do In CC
I'd add that to a dropship only for the lulz.
But I won't.
Also, NEVER give a TDExplosive a very slow TriggerDelay. It will only end blowing up in your hand.
