Bukkit update is out, and it looks from the server console on my machine that everything is working fine, but I can't log in to minecraft.net so I can't test it, and I don't want to push the changes to the server without testing.
On the plus side, looks like we have world-specific permissions now, so I can make one-way gates to specific worlds and everybody can be happy.

I can make the magic happen...

Upgrading server now.
EDIT: But I'm doing world backups before starting it up just in case it breaks and I have to reformat them manually, so it will take a while.
Old format = teh suck.


EDIT: Server works but the world files got overwritten. I'll download and fix them later.

So, I have some good news and I have some bad news.

The good news is that the RAM came in.
The bad news its that it's the wrong kind. Sending it in for an RMA tomorrow/Sunday.

Next time, I'm gonna check the RAM specifications myself...

Because you know not having physical access to the server makes me able to accurately discern the type of RAM you need

But you know Linux much better than I do therefore you could more easily go and look into the system properties in some menu or something and see the exact everything.

If you have physical access to the machine you just have to google the motherboard type to get all port specs on it... just sayin...
