Re: The House of Suns
Lend me your spriting skiiiillllsssss!!!!! [Offtopic/]
This mod is very complete. It has soldiers for every case and guns for every moment. My only complaint, like many others said, is that the weapons list is waaaayyy too long.

Re: The House of Suns
Thanks all! About the guns, yeah... Too many, I kinda get carried away when making guns, I love having lots of stuff to choose from. The spriting on the guns was an experiment that sorta' failed, hugley. About that Modular Drone script, I'd be very gratefull to have that in the mod. Unfortunatley, my internet acces i... Intermittent at best due to me breaking my parents laptop ( it actually crashed then died, but as usual, this is my fault ) so if you could make the script, then PM it to me, I'll include it next time I update the mod, and give extra credits to you and any helpers. It would be a great help. I'll trim down the guns and whip up some new sprites in the process. About that error, I'm not getting it so if you could post an image of it, or type the info up, that would be a great help. Thanks for playing the mod, and I hope you have fun with it.

Re: The House of Suns
For starters, I love this mod. It is well-rounded, well-sprited and overall well-made. As for the weapons, I don't have any problems with a lot of them. The more the merrier, in my opinion! The actors have cool designs, and the color scheme fits very well. My favorite is the MKIV, by far. I am a sniper at heart, no matter the game, and the small and simple body structure tends to exclude it from short- to medium-range battle. The weapons felt well-balanced and fit the mod. The only thing I think needed adding is a wider variety of crafts, since a drop sphere doesn't always cut it (I prefer to use the same weapons, actors, tools and crafts when using a mod. Hybrid armies aren't my style). Overall, I give you a 9/10. Great job!

Re: The House of Suns
Funny thing is, while the actors and the guns are all great, I think I like the ACrabs the most. They're the most nimble, functional Dreadnought type units I've used, even more so than the "Zorgies." They can be maneuvered almost as easily as a standard actor, and they have tough armor and nice mounted guns.
Someone needs to whip up a system that allows them to swap their weapon for any "House of Sun" weapon dropped near them. Do that, and they will be absolutely BRILLIANT.

Re: The House of Suns
I'm working on a system whereby they can pick up any of the weapons they have been coded for so far, but doing it for every gun in the mod would be tiresome.

Re: The House of Suns
I'm not quite sure what you're trying to achieve with that, really.

Re: The House of Suns
That wouldn't really achieve anything useful full stop. It'd be several times easier to do a variety of other things, even if you were in fact aiming at the same result.

So why exactly does this mod not work? It causes CC to crash on load.

Re: The House of Suns
Does it return an error with a cross in a red circle? If not, what does the error say?

Re: The House of Suns
It seems that this mod requires Map Pack 3 but there's nothing said about it in the OP.

Re: The House of Suns
Well, it works without a hitch for me, and I don't have Map Pack 3. I have B24, for clarification.

Re: The House of Suns
Major, I am quite envious of your weapon sprites, and the apparent ease with which you do them. For the robotic actors, though, I would suggest adding some more colours than just red. Maybe some white stripes. Red camouflage would be pointless, but look very cool. Also, <3 sweet German gun names. Oh god I'm such a nazi
