Instead try to shoot it out of their hand or in mid air.

Re: What NOT To Do In CC Yea, I set an actor to gold digger and gave him a digger... He dug a tunnel from 3rd floor down to the brain on the 1st floor.
A tip with use of weapons, I sometimes shoot someone's gun off if they're a browncoat, and then headshot with a RULAS from SAW mod. That works better if I face a SAW heavy in my skirmish I made

Re: What NOT To Do In CC What. No. You must always fight with honor, sometimes it works very well.
One time, my brain unit was stuck at the end of a corridor, with about 11 enemy troops on the other end, he was only armed with a heavy pistol. I then decided to attack them instead of trying to get away, shot once at them, the bullet from the gun skipped directly on their helmets, took out 4 all in one shot. I then charged at them with my jetpack while I was reloading, and killed the rest of the with only minor wounds. Really, minor wounds.
EDIT: However, I must test this strategy with a dreadnought, I'll be back.

Do not give too much weaponry to any soldier. It will give him the same effect of not having a jetpack.
