I think it's very annoying...

If we need balance, we can change energy settings, can't we?
Or make the energy lower when moving...

My favorite part of the Reflector Gun is that when your playing with a friend, Vs-ing, and he shoots some deadly attack at you and you flip out the reflector gun and send it back. There like "Ha! Oh wait why is the Missile coming back!!!". Lol

I just wanted to say that the HESG is the ONLY shield unit I ever use. It is by far the best shield tech i've seen in the game. I'd love to see an AI useable version (so they don't just hold it and turn it on and off) so that I can create a super-hard activity to defend against. Also, the ease of increasing the range, strength, and recharge times makes it super versatile. But perhaps you could release a few preset varieties of it.

Like one version that is rather light, but recharges quickly

Or one that is very heavy, but only recharges after 15 seconds or so

Perhaps the creator of the HESG could also team up with someone who likes to do dropships and create a dropship with a large-radius HESG shield to protect it from incoming fire...that would be slick. :D

I would like a version that applies permanently to whatever unit you aim a "HESG Applicator" tool at.
Then you could place the HESG on Crabs and Crafts, not just Actors.

May be a bit of a bump, but im trying to get these to halo standards.

If you open up the script, there are some variables you can change that influence charging times. You can tweak those to your preference.

This mod totally needs a B24 update. Namely, the Reflector causes an error on loading, and the HESG Energy gauge is covered by the new health display.

I love energy shield! My dream come true! This is AWESOME! But i can't find the "box"... BTW if you change the rande of the shield, it would work with the jetpack. :)
