Re: Sprite Help Thread
I understand, thanks for the feedback and suggestions. On a completely unrelated and exciting note, I've been toying with small portraits for use in Scenes and Missions to show up to identify a unit speaking dialogue (as seen in many RPGs). The first of these I have finished is, unsurprisingly, a standard Dummy: Use in my new avatar: I think if I can bring myself to finish others, it would be fun to add them to missions that use dialogue in future scenes (TLB's Prison Break is the only one that comes to mind that could utilize something like this at the time of this post). Any feedback always accepted and appreciated.

It looks a bit weird with the eye cavity on the side of it, dummies seem like they have flat faces to me. Other than that, it's pretty nice.

I can make out a nose on the vanilla dummy, but I can't tell if the outline is what makes the face flat or if they really are flat. Judging from Prom's CC Fluff page, looking at the Green Dummies, you're probably right, and they look more akin to an older avatar where I tried something similar: I can fix the face shape easy enough, but I thought I'd see how it looked if it was a little more true-to-life dummy.

Re: Sprite Help Thread
Oooh, fancy scanlines.
I will try one for Coalition sometime. I'd like to make them for modders looking to add some flare to scenes, or inspire more people to adopt some cutscenes/dialogue as TLB did, since I feel it added so much to the mission's cool-factor.

Re: Sprite Help Thread
Have more flat surfaces of color, add outlines, possibly some grit.
