It could shoot ram rods. You should see what happened when colonial soldiers forgot to take the ram rods out of their muskets.

I concur with using large rod-shaped objects as the ammunition. Preferably giant nails.

Or, it could shoot kittens that spit nails at your enemies until they bleed to death, and then feed on their remains.

(Note, that this post is wrapped in sarcasm and laced in irony. Kittens don't shoot nails out of their mouth or feed on human remains.)

I've bounced around the idea of nails for projectiles, but the harpoon/nail/spike/impaler/etc have been done before and those mods are great as they are and work fine. If I were to use nails, they'd probably just be mass-based, though I don't know if a revolver is the most ideal weapon to integrate nails as ammo in.

What I do know is I have sprites to allow for dual-wielding for the pistols, so that will be fun when I get there.

I've really wanted a cool looking machine gun/gatling gun to the Behemoth for awhile now, and in the last hour I finally got around to it and sprited up this:

Clearly been watching too much Gundam Wing.

Thanks Heavy Arms!

(This is just a mockup, colors and whatnot will be adjusted a little bit to make it look like it's in the background with the arm)

looks nice, though it's a bit too blue obviously and the shield is a bit odd since you can't really see it from this "side" and it can't really be used as one. As per nails, abdul made that nail turret with nails that stick in and damage units, you could make something cool with that code I bet.

Looking forward to this release, whenever it comes. Seems like it's pretty well along.

id like to see the weapons become more durable, and the dread cannon seems weak, normally kills its shot, and it is very inaccurate, needs some sort of offset change

only bad thing about this mod

this is the only actor i use now!

EDIT: forgot to say that you should increase the price, or make it weaker its a bit OP right now

Is the Behemoth meant to look like it is made out of gibs, or should they be cleaned up?

That is what YOU THINK!!
Anyway...

I agree, an enormous, rapidfire, kitten launching, exploding, overpowering, weapon... OF DOOM! Would be great!

Thanks for the feedback. It's definitely still in early phase. I mean it's literally just off my mind and onto the sprite sheet now. I'll figure out what I can do to improve it. I am liking the blue/greyish look for the weapons I'm doing, but yeah I might have overused the scheme for the weapon. I plan to retouch all the greyscaled areas of the Behemoth with this blue/gray scale just to see how it looks. I might abandon the scheme altogether, but for right now I like how it contrasts with the yellow ramp.

The gun itself is taken directly from Gundam Wing, so that's the reason for the shield part on the back. I may just end up removing it altogether.

I actually helped him with spriting for that nail turret. Thus, I don't feel it proper to just ask to use his code for my own mod. This gatling gun when finished will probably just shoot gatling energy beams. Blue or yellow I feel. Short straight laser "bursts" more than likely vs the typical energy "balls" the current Dummy weapons use.

If you read back a couple pages or so, I have mentioned the Dreadnaught launcher has been removed in my current new version coming out. It was a joke weapon and will get reworked before being reimplemented.

If you dig into the Mod Making thread back enough, you'll find the thread I created the Behemoth in. It was indeed spawned out of arranged gibs cut and cleaned to form a giant Dummy. The only pieces of the Behemoth that look gib-like still in my opinion are the legs, and those have been retouched by me already for this next version. I'm overall completely content with how the Behemoth looks at this point. Only minor tweaks would do any more good.

Looks good but super unbalanced though. As in, in terms of toque and weight distribution.

I think a minigun that's held under arm and fired from the hip would make more sense.

The gatling gun isn't all that good looking. On its own it's a gorgeous sprite. But when attached to the Behemoth in that way, it looks cartoony and almost improbable.

Should be holding it at waist level, or holding it under a forearm.

Yeah the more I look at it the more I think it's just too huge. I think scaling it down will do a lot of good.
