Then he jumps and disappears from sight below. The Eagle lets out a cry as Vlad pushes the joystick forward to its limit.
The Biplane goes into a dive.
Vlad controls the dive as best he can, but it's more like he directing where to crash the plane. He smooths it out as he gets closer to the treetops and then keeps it level as it practically brushes over the foliage. He sees Kyle hit the dirt and stand up - he's fine.
Vlad, however, is about to attempt to cheat death - yet again.

Asfer steps onto the wooden stilts bridge, which proceeds to creak and strain under his weight. As he walks across it, one of the thick, heavy planks snaps and falls into the river below him. Then the next one breaks. Then the next - except this one happened to be a major key-plank, and all the ones before it start cracking and sliding around without support.
"Uh oh. Time to run."
Asfer diverts all of the suit's power to the legs and sprints across the bridge - the planks behind him snap and fall after every step. Just as he gets within meters of the other side, he steps and breaks the final key-plank and all of the planks in front of it loosen and crack. Asfer leaps - as far as he can - and lands on the other side with a great thump and scattering of dirt. He stands and turns around to see that the entire bridge has practically crumbled underneath his footsteps. Most of it is floating downriver, except for a few of the stilts and the connected bits to said stilt.
Asfer turns around again to see not only a very large plain, but the remains of what looks like a poorly executed battle - many uniform-wearing bodies compared to the tribal corpses.
In the distance to his right, he can see the ridge of a mountain and what must be Vlad and Kyle in their Biplane. Something separates from the Biplane, but it's hard to say what.

Then he jumps. The Eagle lets out a cry as the still air hits him - and he falls.
He spreads his arms out in the typical free-falling position and aims for the center of the Battleground below him. As he falls he gets a good view of the land: in front of him is the large plain they saw earlier, with the military men and their flag. Further than that is the river and a bridge, which - strangely enough - looks to be disassembling itself as he watching it. Then he notices a large shape racing across it - which could only be Asfer. Nothing else that large can move so fast, and it makes sense since he is lagging behind a bit.
Angling himself around he can see Vlad is diving the Biplane, and beyond that is the Swamp, and beyond that is the Mountain Ridge.
He looks down. The ground is coming much closer to him all of a sudden, so he pulls his ripcord. A bit of whiplash, gliding and crash-landing later and he is in the Battleground clearing.
It looks much less bloody back in the air.

French. 5'8", goatee, green eyes.

I just realized something - I'm using cybernetic enhancements, so I won't die from this. I'll get minor-moderate injuries if I roll a 1 (3), minor to no injuries if I roll a 2 (4), be perfectly fine if I roll a 3 (5), and if I roll a 4 (6), 5 (6), or 6 (6), minor to moderate injuries.

Pretty much. And since you've been sitting in the plane forever, technically you should have full uses of CEs.
