"MLC, get over here, now."
"Everyone, stay the ♥♥♥♥ away from that thing and the ♥♥♥♥ out of our ways! Toto, suppress it!"
The huge Cerberus barks happily, then begins breathing twin blasts of fire and ice at the orb, blocking it completely from view.
"Demon Dance Ritual, release."
Nothing seems to have happened from this, though Blue does take a deep breath after saying it, as if reinvigorated.
"Fiona, what do you need me for?"
"Help me kill that thing."
"Oh, okay."
Fiona reaches up the left sleeve of her blouse with her right hand, and retrieves the pistol she used earlier against the drones alongside the knife from her other shoulder.
"So, what's our plan fo-"
*BLAM*
*thud*
MLC's body hits the ground, blood leaking from the bullet hole in his forehead. The other Rollers stare in shock, too dumbstruck to even speak.
"Sometime today Fiona!"

"Holy ♥♥♥♥, Fiona just killed MLC!"
"What the ♥♥♥♥?!"
"Quick, see if he's here!"
JJ runs over to the entrance to the Afterparty, where everyone who dies appears.
"Yeap! He died alright."
"Whu...what?"
"Hey, MLC, buddy, looks like Fiona just shot you to death in the face. Welcome to the Afterparty I guess."
"JJ, Fiona just dropped through some kinda portal in the floor!"
"What?"
"Iunno, she waved her hand and a portal appeared on the ground, and she just kinda jumped in."
"Yeah, I don't have time to waste shooting myself. This was faster."
Fiona drops down from the portal on the ceiling, completely nonchalant. She walks over towards the console that Tomaster unlocked before being teleported back to the real world. She types a few things in, and a section of wall next to the console retracts, revealing dark wooden door. She then walks over to MLC, and crouches down next to him.
"You and I need to have a little chat, right now. Into the room, damnit."


Toto continues to blast the orb with it's side heads' attacks, until without warning they both stop their attacks and begin coughing as if something flew down their throats. A haze remains over the orb from the ice and fire forming steam, but it's easy to see that the orb is still there, floating in place.
"Umm, Blue? What the ♥♥♥♥ is going on?"
"I've absolutely no damn idea. But I know that that orb isn't friendly."
Almost as if in response, the orb pulses, releasing a wave of black energy across the air around it. Everyone takes a halting step back, uncertain as to the orb's intentions.
Then, it lunges.

A giant has been laid to rest today...we will forever know her.

Besides, it seems we all died.

Great, now I have to make sure RTD 2 lasts at least 364 pages.

Now that this is over, can I recommend a lock of the thread, to prevent any newbies that might sign up coming in and posting a character sheet or commenting on it?

Someone needs to compile all the rolls into a book-like format first, though.

Hyper, in all seriousness, you did an amazing job in this. You've got great storytelling technique, and you managed to keep me interested for all 364 pages. So great job. Nice cliffhanger too.

Hyper... that's just.... uncool. Okay. I guess it is cool. But... cliffhangers? Gosh darn it, there'd better be some sort of continuation.... I can't stand to see this story end with a cliffhanger. Urrrgghhh.

Dangit Hyper! This is almost as bad as the Halo Series! asdgaf.

You guys DO realise the sequel is still running right? Maybe it's the good sort of ending cliffhangers as it will be revealed in the next part of the trilogy (Mecha RtD is the 3rd part in terms of time line and start date, as far as I know at least.)
